For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

Damn zombies, LOTS of zombies and they wasted very little time giving the people what they wanted. Good to see some roles adjusting and others getting more character development.

But a good intro episode that sets the tone for what could be a dark season. The prison is no longer safe!

Is it airborne? Water-based? What is causing eyes to bleed? Poor Patrick!

Okay here's what my wife and I think is happening. All the livestock/meat is getting infected. Darryl cut off a chunk of that deerr for that boy. And now he's dead. The pig is dead. That animal in the forest was dying.

NO MORE MEAT!!!

Now the water supply is infected as we watched that boy cought in the water supply before he died

Interesting, I didn't even remember that Daryl gave him meat.. but aren't they cooking the meat and stuff? And weren't others eating the meat?

And yeah, the water is infected now that he coughed directly into it..

Poor Phineas. He was a little over the top in his dialog though. Apparently the director told him to treat Daryl like a rock star too.

I dont know, but nobody else got sick? The other animals are dying around them too. Who knows, we'll find out!

Possibly we found out that they didn't cook the meat well enough? It will be interesting to see what they conclude, IF they can conclude anything instead of just assuming.

They wouldn't script it on assumptions unless it was a deliberate red herring for the viewer.

This doesn't seem like the type of show to intentionally deceive, when it's just as worrisome knowing exactly what's going on.

I also thought it had to be the Deer that Patrick ate, but I'm sure he isn't the only one who ate it yet no one else turned into a walker.. it must be something else..

For all we know the boy got bit while killing zombies at the fence. Dontknow Has a feeling we may see a zombie bite or something sooner or later.

I think he just tainted the water coughing all in it and shit, but the deer, theres no other point to say a word about it...
