Did you watch?
For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

- Judith's crying and making sounds really bothered the priest...why, you would think he would be happy to see a survived baby and see it as a blessing
- could the hospital cops have let Noah go knowing there is another group out there. And his job was to lead the hospital cops to them
- Eugene's gurgle was meant to sound like turning.. very much like Rick on the couch after waking up from his mini-coma was meant to trick you into thinking he may have turned at the beginning of S4. He'll be fine, IMO.
- I think Gabriel is fleeing from the church because he feels like he's on borrowed time staying there with all the memories and atrocities. He touched the words "You'll Burn For This" while they were boarding up and he probably wants to just leave that place and everything it means.
- Bob may have been playing everybody from the start, even Noah. Way too early to tell with that dude.

from the cops' perspective, i don't think Noah would be the best pull for the unknown outside group. they probably figured there were others with Beth, but if they wanted someone to lead them to that group, they should have simply let her escape and follow her. i suppose you could take the leap that Beth shared everything with Noah before their escape plan and assume he'd try to meet up with them when he got out, but there are a lot of variables in that, and it turns out she apparently didn't spill the beans anyway: Noah ended up staying in town and had no idea who Daryl and Carol were when he ran into them.
i did think it was a little fishy that the cops' backup just happened to show up at the right time, complete with automatic weapon firing (was it just one person? was he firing from the driver's seat?). makes it seem like a setup, but the narrative we're being given is these guys are the Keystone Cops; the leftovers. however, i'm starting to think there might be more to the situation than we're being shown.
this is convoluted, and i don't really subscribe to it, but what if Dawn and the cops are playing everyone? what if she recognized early on that the dynamic between civilians and cops in the hospital might be "too equal" and worked with the other officers to make it appear she was barely holding onto control of her force? it allows them to keep power by mostly-indirect coercion, painting the situation as an unstable one where the cops might just start capping people at any time. this would actually encourage the officers to indulge in some of their more base impulses (lollipop, anyone?) and give Dawn the scapegoat we've seen her use several times to thwart requests from residents, all while keeping people around to wash their clothes, heal their wounds, and generally be servants. this would explain by Bob was trusted by Noah, but turned out to be more aggressive; i'm sure Dawn would pick some of the officers to pretend to be "nice" and in favor of changing things so they could gather intel from the civilians. it's far from a bulletproof theory, but something to think about.

I also think they will realize Eugene isn't totally useless. There were a couple references last episode about Eugene showing them how to do things, like the water filter. In an emergency survival situation, knowledge can be just as valuable a resource as food, water, & ammo.
