Did you watch?
For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

Z Nation is much better, more action and less soap opera. They don't try to do the show too seriously and there might be a few more plot holes to overlook, but still more entertaining. Just last week we learn that Viagra works on zombies.
BTW, if you want to punish yourself with a 4.5 season marathon of Walking Dead, mark your calendar for December 30.

I also think they will realize Eugene isn't totally useless. There were a couple references last episode about Eugene showing them how to do things, like the water filter. In an emergency survival situation, knowledge can be just as valuable a resource as food, water, & ammo.
edit: Never mind...
Get on with the friggin' show already or move it to a daytime hour where it can join all of the other useless soap operas!!!!!

Just spit balling. My real hunch is that Morgan and Noah are related.

based on descriptions of Z Nation, a person can go there to get their fix of mindless action and zombie boners without worrying about some writer trying to explore actual human emotions or impulses other than "kill things," so i wonder why those people are still watching TWD. /rant

i thought the same: Eugene has shown he is at least capable of killing walkers (after the bus crash), and he obviously has enough everyday knowledge to help the group at times. Abraham apparently isn't going to kill him, and they brought him back in the fire engine, so that group apparently wants to keep him. i'll be interested to see how Rick will respond when he finds out there isn't a cure.
Beth had gotten stronger through her time in the hospital, and wanted one more shot at being strong, realizing that Dawn was overstepping what was fair and that she should pay for it. She was going for the neck I think, but she's not exactly adept with a blade, so she missed. Either that, or her humanity took over and she couldn't make herself go for the jugular, even as mad as she was.
i liked Beth, even with her teenage faults, and i thought it was a pretty crappy way to end her story. i also think it was ridiculous that a hallway full of armed, nervous people wouldn't just start firing after the first stabbing/shooting combo.

now when a good group meets a good group, everyone is understandably suspicious since, well, that's human nature, and it's probably made worse by the heightened survival stakes resulting from no overarching system of order. even within those good groups, it just takes one Shane to create a misunderstanding or rash action to turn the suspicious groups against each other, maybe even causing them to kill each other. this would make the winning group even less trusting of strangers and maybe more willing to abuse future ones, likely moving them over to the bad category by little bits.
when a good group meets a bad group, the bad group will simply pretend to be good until they can take advantage of the good group, either wiping them out or leaving them in the same distrusting downward spiral toward bad that the losing good group above is in. the most extreme example of this so far is Terminus, but Rick's group is heading down a similar path.
of course, Hershel and his group are the exception, but it's because Rick's group found them pretty soon after the event and the farm was spared interaction with the outside world due to its relative isolation; had a bad group come upon the farm before Rick's, the outcome could have been very different. it didn't hurt that Hershel himself was supremely averse to violence and had nearly complete control over his people.
eventually, nearly all groups end up nearing the bad spectrum because all the purely good, trusting groups are dead. Shane had some very valid points.
