Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

Never thought there was. Just something that I have seen commented on more than once. I had not read that the producer has come out and specifically say that he was not.

No one assumed he was gay. I have seen it mentioned in several places that several people thought he may be gay based on how he has acted on the show. As we all know, people have certain urges, men especially. Men of a certain age even more. Some people found it interesting that when given several opportunities to quell those urges that Daryl chose not to. I don't understand why the new thing is to instantly assume that someone must not be into young and crazy ladies, or blue hairs, but still be into women, rather than think that the character may be gay. In this day and age, there isn't anythign wrong with being gay. Sheesh, people... haha.

I totally agree. Unless he and Beth were the last two people on earth and needed to repopulate the planet, I would have been grossed out by a sexual relationship between the two. And as for Carol, I like her just fine but seriously, I see her as being at least 50 years old. I have no idea how old Daryl is but I always guessed late 20's, early 30's? I know it happens (Elizabeth Taylor, JLo, Madonna, Robin Wright), but Sick.
That is how I read it too. I assume Beth was ~16, Daryl is ~35 and Carol is ~50.

The actual IRL ages of the actors: 29 (say whaaaaa laugh out loud ), 46, and 49.

They could still be lying so it's a surprise when it comes out. The actor is gay in real life and has said he would be comfortable playing a gay Daryl, his character hasn't had any love interests in the show, and the only gay guys in the entire series have 'taken him in' and he will now be spending long days and nights with one of them out in the wild in an RV. When he's back at the community he will be spending a lot of free time in their garage.

I think he alluded to them being the bad guys, that they took over the people that lived in Alexandria maybe? I couldn't hear it very well, either.

I might have missed something, but how did Tara hurt herself? And what were the things they were going to get?
