Did you watch?
For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

Some people (myself included) often become so invested in a character in a movie or TV show that when there is a sudden or unexpected "character shift", we lose interest.
It really wouldn't be that big of a "character shift", based off how the character has been portrayed thus far.

i'm with jeepdog: if homophobia isn't a part of the equation, it confuses me a bit why someone would stop watching if he came out.
One of the MANY things the writers on this show suck at is grooming a character to become something they were not originally. Rick went from 0 to bat-shit crazy and nothing about his insanity was believable. Andrea went from a grieving sister to a tough badass and a lot of people didn't buy that transition. Tyrese came in as a tough guy and went out like a babbling old lady. Now Sasha is supposed to have PTSD of some sort and everytime she opens her mouth, she spews anger-riddled crap that leaves me going
Carol's character is really the only one I look at and I think about what they have taken her through (abusive husband, losing her daughter, losing the other two girls she was caring for), and I think "okay, I can see why she is the way she is."
The bottom line (for me) is that I watch the show because I like Daryl Dixon. I don't give a rat's patootie about anyone else on the show. I used to but not after the start of the third season where it started to get pretty goofy. I am only in it these days to see what happens to Daryl.
That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about in my previous post. No grooming, just a 180.

sometimes i wonder if people are watching the same show as me, but through this board, i've come to realize that this is a series where people can watch for very different reasons. i couldn't care less about gory battles with walkers and am exceedingly happy with an episode that is 90%+ dialogue. some people identify/latch onto one character and follow him/her religiously, but i care way more about the narrative and overall theme than any one character. i want to have the suspense of every character being eligible for the chopping block while others want to see the same familiar core of characters address new situations. neither is technically correct, but this series more than any other has shown me the differences.
2. The lounge girl Carl was with, possibly part of those exiled or part of the " w" group and inside as a spy.

4 anyone think the arms lying in the grass in one scene looked like the guy following Rick's group. Can't think of his name, one with the glasses that Rick met early on? Were those sunglasses on the ground by the arms? Did they say on TD the "w" is actually an "m"? Upside down?
I think she is completely off the wall with that one, but whatevs.
Ain't no way in hell that's how Morgan goes out after they've played him up so big in the background of this season. I'm hoping he makes quite a re-entry into the main story in the finale.
Pretty sure the sunglasses, and the lady strung to the tree, are to show that these have been done recently. No walker would be wearing sunglasses; it doesn't make sense unless they've managed to keep them on for years
