Did you watch?
For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

oh man, was i glad to see Sam go. with the Carol voiceover, i'm probably supposed to take away that her callous treatment of others has unforeseen, possibly horrible consequences, but all i could be was glad i didn't have to see that bowl-cut whiner any longer. Ron finally getting his comeuppance from Michonne was liberating as well.
i feel for Rick for losing another romantic interest and the ability to reliably play catch with his son, but at least it unleashed Crazy Rick, again proving the most effective way to solidify a team is to slaughter everything in sight in a blind rage.
i hate how the writers tried to somewhat justify Morgan's keeping the wolf alive by having the latter form enough of an attachment to Denise to come back to help her when running for the wall, then yelling for her to leave him as he's being ravaged. i will remind everyone that if it wasn't for him, specifically, Denise wouldn't be out among the walkers, and if not for the wolves, overall, the walls would not have been breached and a bunch of people would still be alive.
i know the amount of shouldered burden in a pregnancy is always uneven, but this has to be a pretty extreme case: since Maggie became pregnant, she has all but lost her ability to walk and climb. meanwhile, Glenn has developed a magical walker-proof membrane over himself, allowing them to get close to him while completely ignoring easy opportunities to bite him, whether he's only partially covered by a recently-deceased colleague or overtaken by a hoard against a wall. based on the latter, it might make him bulletproof as well. i've never wanted kids, but based on this evidence, i'll make it a top priority in the event of a zombie apocalypse.
overall, it was a good way to pick things back up. little too much hack and slash in the dark for my taste, but it had a purpose, so i can't complain. Rick admitted he finally has hope again, so i look forward to it being systematically torn out of him.

About the truck..that was greed on rick's part. you don't find a truck full of food and not go home rightaway.
