Man, I've seen a lot of things on the web and there have been few times that it's so shocking, it haunts me. This is one of those WTF....For some reason, Amazon selling : "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure" just leaves me speechless. I buy everything from Amazon except for food....I don't know if I'll be shopping at Amazon anytime soon...just my opinion.

Just because there's a law doesn't mean it's right, that's a right that we, the citizens, have.. we can deem laws to be "incorrect" in the court of law..

There is a limit to Freedom of Speech about obscenity, what he wrote was obscene which means he broke the law. Under the Florida Statutes chapter 847.011 section 1C he broke the law of distribution of obscene material that depicts minors engaging in conduct harmful to minors, which means because he sold his book to Undercover Police in Polk County where that law is in affect, he broke the law.

I highly doubt they are going to change those laws, they are there to protect people. If you want to exercise your right as a citizen to stop this from happening then do it.

Somebody is going to challenge that law eventually, and probably will win. Once upon a time Larry Flynt was on trial for "obscenity". How did that work out?

I think it's fairly clear that this guy is a pedophile, we just don't know whether he's ever acted on his impulses. There's no evidence that this guy is a criminal. It's not illegal to simply BE a pedophile. There're probably lots of people out there that have these disgusting impulses but know intellectually that it's wrong in the society we live in, and restrain themselves. These people are not criminals.

Do you know that to be true? I haven't read the book, nor do I intend to, but I've read a few articles describing it. Wow. He was arrested for mailing a book to some undercover cops? That's a really scary proposition. What about all those Lifetime movies depicting child sex slaves? Were the makers of those films arrested? This is a really scary situation. He has a right to write as he pleases.
