Ok so I'll ask....is there anything wrong with me dating a married woman?

3,549 129 November 23, 2010 at 03:06 PM in Question
It's not me cheating so is there anything wrong with it? A couple of people have told me it's wrong and made it sound like I am evil but they can't really tell me why with anything other than emotional reactions. So what's up?

No, I'm not kidding, if you're farking some dude's wife, I am 100% serious. I hope he murders you.
Quote from OwenKealy :
Nothing wrong with what I said. *shrug*

What would be wrong with the situation if a) the OP were telling the truth, and b) as a result of that, the husband of the woman he's banging killed him? No internet joking, actual murder.
Well aren't you just a little ray of sunshine. Really dude you might want to look into some anger management stuff. Or rage stuff. Or whatever that stuff is. Yeah.

Quote from itxtwhlstdrvng :
How are you so nice to this guy? I had sex with a girl (she was single) without using a condom and it was as if I confessed to murdering cute furry animals.
The difference is I didn't take a sh!t in the woods. Thumbup

(but i hear the pope did)
Quote from dalokgawd :
What I want to know is why bother posting a thread asking if what you're doing is wrong if you were just going to ignore what every single person says and keep doing it anyways? Dontknow
It is ignoring because I don't agree that I am an accessory, a douchebag, etc.? Well yeah I ignored some of the more vitriolic stuff but that's a good thing amirite?

Quote from stimpy :
this

Let me first say
1) I first thought this thread was just an obvious troll thread
2) I always enjoyed the OPs posts and thought he possessed reasonable intelligence
3) I now believe he is far younger and naive than I originally assessed.
4) I knowingly fooled around with married women when I was younger (knowing it was wrong).
5) What goes around .... comes around.

OP - questions for you.
Let's just say you're at a bar, obviously together, another dude comes on to her. Ignores you and the fact that he can see you're together. Is that dude wrong?
This is totally different than me at a bar with a chick and some guy starts hitting on my chick even though he knows she is with me.

Quote from Tamales. :
ummm if her hubby dosent know then most likely you are contributing to the DEMISE of their marriage. CONTRIBUTE_ER!

i like that word. Smilie
Quote from Tamales. :
are u gonna put a ring on it????????????

her husband gave her a commitment. he pays her bills no? can u do that? WOULD u do that?

Wave happy thnaksgiving doc!
Right.....your advice and comments are the ones I should pay attention to when it comes to the subject of cheating.

Quote from zzyzzx :
Iagree

Women have been doing this for a long time, so it seems to me that they should be OK for the OP to do it as well, unless the women here have double standards, or something.

Cool
Exactamundo!!!

The irony is if I had lied and made my OP like this:

"Ok there is a woman I know that is being beaten by her husband and is emotionally abused and I am trying to help her. She is afraid to leave him because he controls all the money and she doesn't have a job to support herself. Oh and while consoling her once we had sex and now we knock boots all the time. But we keep trying to figure ways to help her cope and eventually escape from her abusive husband. Am I wrong to have sex with her?"

No one especially the women would have said a single bad thing or judged me negatively. Quite telling is it not?

Yet another post to prove how delusional you are. Yes, you'd be wrong to have sex with her, and I'm pretty sure everyone here would tell you the same thing! laugh out loud

How can you argue that you are not an accessory, that is exactly what you are.

If an entire forum full of people are telling you this is wrong, then the thread is over. You don't want to listen to us, we are tired of your empty excuses.

You are farking another man's wife, this is wrong in just about every culture on earth. So yes, it is wrong.

laugh out loud I was just joking around with the no ot (I think/thought you knew that). But no, there are a few amongst us who will go great lengths to argue their point (not that it's good or bad) - I perceive you to be one of them.

Or were you being serious about me being annoying and thick headed? I didn't see anyone disagreeing with me, as I didn't really have a point to start with laugh out loud I was just Thread Jacked a thread that needed to be in the podium.

I thought you were, and I saw you change it, but I really didn't need some mod coming in there to warn me laugh out loud

And I 100% agree with you, I would argue wtill I'm blue in the face if I think I'm right. I just don't know why you mention that today, as I didn't have a point to begin with laugh out loud

Mmmm...no. I still think she has resources and recourses. If she can get out to see you, she can get away and if he's abusive and she can prove it, he won't control the money anymore. I actually don't think it...I know it. I helped someone very close to me do it. It's not easy and it's messy, but it can be done, especially when there are no children to consider.

Like I said before - more for yourself, I would find one who isn't attached, or wait until this one isn't, or even help her get disentangled if that's what she (and you) wants and you're willing to go through that with her.

You asked for opinions. You got opinions. There are no black and white answers when it comes to morals and ethics. There are just opinions and shades of grey. Some people think some things are a-okay. Some wouldn't do thinks that others would. I mean, like I said before, you know the situation and you (and she) have to live with the consquences. If you can live with them, they why are you here asking for opinions? Just move forward. If you have that shred of doubt in your mind, then why are you rejecting the opinions that you requested?

You've seemed reasonable in other threads, but you're very contrary in this one. If you want to do something that most people think is morally corrupt/bankrupt, then just do it. No one can stop you. At some point in life, most poeple push the envelope and many people learn from it (whether they learn something good or something bad...they learn), so...

No that observation was unrelated to that thread or any thread from today. Was just a random thought laugh out loud

And I did not car about threadjacking that thread either. If I do, I don't have any issues in putting NO OT in the title. Ironically, it was some of us who came up with that concept many months back laugh out loud
