Really??? Interesting about the alert. That's why I always save my K1 Qs till the end.

Although, apparently something about turning 3 has suddenly made her ask for and eat salad!!! I almost Faint when she asked me the other day. Normally, she's all about the fruits and you have to practically force or bribe her to eat any veggie.

Just swing thru ATL on your way, and pick up some of us GA people. Wink

It's probably fast to take I-75 down thru ATL, all the way to I-10 anyways. Can you imagine how many Ts we would pass! We'd need a semi trailer to get it all back home! drool

Yep, it dings for tons of things! It sounds just like Mario getting a coin in a Super Mario game.

[QUOTE=LongTimeLurker7;32997005
Sorry for the late email list. Had a little *too* much fun last night Blush

I pulled something in my lower back on Fri, been doing ok with just ibuprofen. Last night I threw in the towel, decided I would just not babysit DH and got a bottle of TGIF Orange Dream (with the Vodka in it) and ended up drinking half the bottle EEK! I was buzzing by 9pm, I'm a big lightweight, and I haven't drank much at all in years, so it didn't take much.

Well, the party last night was a "beerfest", with stupid little drinking games and such. One game(and the only one that ended up getting played) was an obstacle course. I took the "glory" route at the end down the Slip n' Slide. Not a good thing to do when you already have a hurt back. Nono

At least I have no hangover today, just a very sore back.

Anyways, emails are out. I'm glad the Kraft reset, some of the new TQs will match up nicely.

I have not ventured out today, so no inserts for me. Not a biggie, they have sucked lately anyways around here. I just ordered some of the Nestle Qs off the 'bay.

Cathi - what bags of candy did you buy? There are new scanners at both stores I go to and neither of them showed a GC deal for the candy or friskies last week, even though there was one. All of them said "Expect More, Pay Less"

I tried to do 1 more candy deal yesterday, cashier waiting at the end of the checkout to get the next customer was one that I had been avoiding. I was right to do so. She scanned 2 of my Qs. noticed something was wrong, called over the GSTL and he showed her how to adjust them down. Frown I was getting some bandages and Neosporin yesterday anyways (son wiped out running at the flea market and took a lot of skin off his knees and fingers). I didn't feel like arguing, I was very tired at that point.

Flea Market went pretty well, I'm down to about 15 bottles of Mr. Clean. Made a little over $300, but ended up with a lot of empty boxes/containers, so that made me happy. My DH said I can spend the money on whatever I want, since I clipped the Qs and did all the work. Now the question is: Dyson, save for iPad, YMCA membership, or some laminate flooring (or Dyson and 2 boxes of laminate flooring to do little hall area, where the cats have ripped up the carpet.)

Kallision - if your freezer is going to be unplugged for awhile, Publix sells Dry Ice. It's in a chest cooler in the freezer section usually.

Jamie - Hope the first day went well, and I hope you got your Dyson TQ from the Red Magazine in the break room (back cover).

Does anyone know what the T Mobile Qs are. I received the text yesterday, but haven't gotten online and checked them. I looked in the Deals wiki, but didn't find them, just an empty spot where they would normally go.

I told my DD that I was currently getting candy with Qs. She sent me a text saying, "I want CANDY!!" I think I may fill up a med. priority mail flat rate box with just candy and send it to her laugh out loud[/QUOTE]

Oh that sucks on the candy HATE it when that happens.
I bought the mars 9.99 packs snicker, mms. twix , this partitucular store is notorious for having pricing error, signage ,and pos, still giving gc this morning though signage is gone. This kind of thing has happened before with the Gc , I dunno just this store out of 6.

OK, I would totally heart you if this deal is still going on. I scanned every single bag of Mars candy last week at my store, and NONE of them showed on the scanner as being part of the gc deal, so I didn't even get to do one deal. The one time I went through the lane with what I *thought* was the right bags, no gift card prompt. I have a bunch of coupons, but never used them.

Planning on using the Glade gc TQ a whole whole bunch this week, to use up my Glade Qs.

LTL, glad to hear your flea market went so well!! I had a yard sale Sat, as well, and sold aobut $330. Not too shabby, considering the weather was just gorgeous and I'm sure people were out doing fun fall things. Big Grin

OK, off to bed. Revival services at church this week, and I'm fighting a cold. Gotta make sure I get enough sleep!!

anyone have a pilot's license and a plane? laugh out loud

dreeme, congratulations on completing the first day!! do you have any of those dr. scholl's gel inserts? they help a lot when in a job where you're on your feet a lot. also, i've seen some cashiers use a folding padded footstool that they just put in their booth when working a register. allows you to rest one foot at a time when it gets too painful.

I was never the ideal body type to be a dancer. I did ballet for 13 years and had a wonderful instructor for 11 years that taught us to love ballet as an art and not focus on productions, auditions, etc She retired and they brought in a younger instructor who promptply told me to give up because I would never be successful as a dancer until I lost weight.

I then switched over to Irish dance, which was considerably more forgiving of my weight. I miss that, too. I really could have taken it to a much more competitive level, but decided to focus on college instead. But I've never forgotten the grace and beauty of ballet...it has a hold on me that I can't describe!

hug I understand on the sleeping in your arms only baby..DD was like that...And no amount of letting her cry it out worked...But what worked out ( and I accidently found this out) was her sleeping on her tummy..I know, I know peds don't recommend it now but hey ask your grandmother and I am sure she will say you slept on your belly...
My son was the same way. Couldn't get him to sleep for any length of time no matter how much we tried when on his back. Finally in desperation I laid him on his stomach and he slept 6 straight hours. It felt like a miracle at the time.

Felt a little bad about it but then when I was an infant my mother was told a child could choke to death if left on his back. On top of that my sister's son had to wear some custom helmet thingy to fix a flat spot on his head from sleeping on his back. (She rarely had him in a car seat to drive and never in the home, it was strictly due to sleeping on his back.) Pair that with the fact I finally could sleep too and I got over my guilt real fast.

At least I had many years with an wonderful instructor. She wanted all her students to be healthy, but I'm very thankful she realized it's not the smartest idea to tell young girls to drop a few pounds.

I'm very excited, actually! Funny how something comes back to you after 10+ years and you feel like you never left.
