Wave morning

Internet was down early this morning and woman working for the cable company on end of phone told me it was my modem. Yep, sure it is Nono2 .

Somehow, once you complain, it starts working like a champ.

Jaime, what's the sexy dress for looking hawt for?

Hellooooo errbody wave I am back from our cold and windy Vaca to Myrtle Beach. I am seriouily considering writting a letter to the hotel about how all the little things just made our stay really suck in the end. Like the kiddie pools heat was totally broken and the maitainence guy was like "Hum, yep Its broken or something - guess it's like try again next time!" Then the hotels hot water went out and we couldn't shower for 2 days - maybe if it was still 90 degrees outside but the luke cold shower water was unbearable. Then even the indoor pool was cool. I had to empty my own trash because they olny offer maid servce on your third day of stay and they only give you a 8 galllon trash can!?!

Ugh, anyway I see that I have missed a lot - can anyone send me Wink what I missed Wink Wink
I did stop at the T down there but all the bath stuff was gone except for 2 matching towel bars and the matching tp holder so I picked them up for -$5 all together I was hoping to get some more of the 2 pack chair 75% but they were still at 30% EEK!, then we did a big Kohls run - DS#1 did one tranny, DH did 2 in a row, then we went to the other reg DH did 2 trannys then the girl would only let me do 1 because she felt sorry for DH because he had all these kids - and I was like I have all these kids! But anywho We got our new towel collection started.

I'm so sorry, setsail.. Frown It's not an excuse for anyone, but I bet your family and friends probably just didn't know what to say. Maybe they thought bringing it up would make you feel bad..?

Ok, talk about the influence of chat talk! I'm not a coffee drinker (other than the occasional starbucks latte), nor do I own a coffee maker, much less one that takes K-cups! But I was so behind I read this whole thread today. K-cups, K-cups, K-cups! At T tonight I found K-cups! With AS-IS stickers for 75% off, 2.46! 7of them. I bought them all! LMAO Now I think I need to go to Kohl's to look for this mini. No way am I paying more than $50. Did you use a $5 and a $10? I'm in a non $10 state, so I only have $5 ones. But Ima be searching our 3 stores tomorrow!
I only had a 30% off, the coffee maker was priced $48 and I got 30% off of that. I haven't even seen a $10 'round this state, either.. EEK!

Whole story ..some girl lost out on coupon amt over 40 in q's didn't notice until she got home who knows why .....

Continually snarky lady Blamed the victim for not being ever vigilant consumer

People got sick of it and told her so...
The end.
-snip-
ROFLMAO!!! Rofl2

I posted that the bitchiness on all fronts needs to stop. Gosh, that thread is already going to be a nightmare for the holidays.. imagine if the bitchiness continues. Angry

Haven't seen that show in ages. It's another one that will make you feel good about your relationship.

Quote from getgreen09 :
how much are these, please? did you say that somewhere already and i missed it? if so, sorry for repetitive question. thanks!
Well, I thought the sign had said .40 but on my receipt they were .59. So .09 after q. Frown I am guessing the .40 were another one - maybe non-organic. I may try those today. I'm assuming they'll work though.

Quote from mama2cole :
Ugh. He was up at 4 burning up and threw up a little. I almost think the vomit yesterday and this morning was from the fever. Is that possible? It wasn't full blown puke, it was more like flemmy spit up and only happened the 2 times he was really warm.
Yes, fevers can make you throw up - and if it was flemmy, that was likely an even bigger aggravater. I hope he's back to normal very soon. Seems the germy season is upon us.

I swear they have a button at the company that they randomly push to make it work or not work and that they do it just for fun. You can spend all day unplugging, restarting, uninstalling, reinstalling, replugging, restarting, doing funky chicken dances and howling at the moon and get nowhere. But, give 'em a call and have them tell you to "cycle the modem" (just like you did 87 times before) and ta-da... it works.

They do it on purpose.

Okay, I read alot.. not gonna try to quote it all.

On the topic of losing someone and people not saying anything.. I agree that most of it is that people truly don't know what to say. When I used to work in the OB department, I never knew what to say to the women who had lost their babies,I would be uncomfortable, so I didn't say anything. I had a very nice coworker tell me one night, that saying nothing was the worse thing.. She told me that simply saying "I am sorry for your loss" acknowledges their pain and makes them feel like you care. It made so much sense, and I always felt so much better after that. Then, when I lost our baby a few years ago, it hurt so bad. And I was only 3-4 months along, so not near carrying a full term baby.. I had people not know what to say to me. I could tell some people avoided talking to me.. and some said really stupid things like " in the long run, you are better off".. it hurt when friends said things, but.. you realize that they really don't know what to say and they are trying to say something that will make you feel better.. but, really they can't take away that pain.. It just takes time. I still get very emotional and will NEVER forget that day. My DH is a very caring and emotional guy. He cried at the time and it bothered him for the longest time.. But, he doesn't even remember now, when the exact time was it happened. This August was the 4 year mark, and he didn't even mention it.. But, I am sure he forgot.. I think that because we carry the babies and they are apart of us.. there are somethings we won't forget. It isn't that my DH doesn't care, but it is easier for him to get past and forget than me.

Hugs to everyone who has experienced that kind of loss. .. I was crying this morning in the car. There was a story on the radio about a family that they were giving a dream vacation to. The mom was sharing her story. SHe has a 3 year old little boy who has been undergoing cancer treatment for the last year.. Had chemo, had surgery, and is doing more chemo. She said he was listed as cancer free a few months ago, but they told her if they didn't do additional chemo, his chances of remaining that was were less than 10%.. with this last round, his chances went to 50-60%.. Said he gets so sick and last round ended up in ICU.. I was driving and just crying. It really hit home.. I am so blessed!! I can't imagine this poor family having to watch a 2 year old suffer like that. I told my DD today, that it made me feel so sorry for every time I have complained.. The toddler woke me up at 5 am this morning and I was complaining.. But, it made me realize how much I have to be thankful for. The Lord has blessed me with 4 wonderful children who have the health to run and play, and often times make messes, and the ability to speak which is a blessing, even when they talk back and get on my nerves, I do really love being a momhug

Crying I only have 1 and she will be my one and only (long story but she is my miracle). I sometimes get too busy to play with her and shoo her away only later to regret it. She is going to be my only 1 and I know I am blessed after reading this story. Fark the dishes, next time I am playing Barbies!

Aww, sorry Ank hug

I wasn't trying to be a downer.. Just sharing how so many times it is easier for me to focus on my problems rather than my blessings..

Thanks again for the cheese info.. I found the organic string cheese. I would never have seen it if you hadn't told me right where it was.. That stuff wasn't with the other deli cheeses like you would think. Mine was hiding in a little basket almost out of sight. I grabbed 2 of them. Didn't notice until I went to check out that the deli coupon said .50 off 1.00 or more. I was afraid it would give me problems.. But it was beep free and cashier didn't notice.
I have a theory about your bagels yesterday. I am thinking they maybe didn't beep because they were .99. Even though the coupon excludes .99 items, several people have reported it working on the .99 loaves still. I wonder if your store is like mine and they bagels are Einstein brand. If so, I bet that is why it beeped. I know previously when I got cookies from the bakery and they were nestle brand, but wrapped in the deli.. the coupon beeped. I think it is coded specifically for AF or MP items. But, again, that is just my theory!

I found some cute clearance socks and tights that were merona.. Coupon beeped on each one and cashier wouldn't accept.. Just did a refund at CS.
And that stupid produce coupon.. only took off .49 for my bananas.. but I kinda expected thatMad
I did grab 5 more of the strawberry applesauce packs, but I am seriously running out of room to store them. Today I am planing on cleaning the pantry out. Good thing is, the expiration dates are far out. SOme are April 2011 and some are October 2011..

Me too.. I told me DH that about housework some days.. I would rather sit and play with my toddler, or snuggler her on the couch while she watches Tinkerbell.. One day she won't want to snuggle anymore, and I don't want to miss a second of it!
