Never thought of illinois Scratchchin dh line of work would be great anywhere with old fixtures because its much easier to refinish then replace it. They do have kits at home depot to refinish your tub but that is a roll on application that looks nothing like what dh can do. He uses a high volume low pressure sprayer, it is definitely a skill
That he had to master, there is only one other refinisher I know as good as him and thats his brother.
How much should it cost, do ya know? To have it done I mean.

I read on Deals that the scanner/price checker no longer shows GC deals when you scan an item. I tried it tonight on the Buy 5 Klondike and get a 5 GC. It did not show on the scanner/price checker but did get the GC when I checked out. What is up with that? They want us to be unsure.............

Nope, that has a non stick surface. I am flexible as to brand, size, even price (to a point) the non stick surface is what I absolutely won't do.
There is one on eBay, vintage SEARS KENMORE 1500 Watt ELECTRIC GRIDDLE. $35 BIN with $12.90 shipping.

Probably not what you are looking for either. Wink

I think I would rather have palmetto bugs instead of wolf spiders. These are huge nasty things that seem to lurk on my front porch to greet me when I come home from work. Oh, they also carry their egg sacs with them, so when DH smears them, babies run all over. I know that they are all congregating to avenge the deaths of their parents. These future shoe goo's also have EYESHINE, for pete's sake. Like cats. Creepy. And they seem to be immune to regular bug sprays. Aside from squishing (which can be hard, they move fast) bleach seems to piss them off, but wasp spray gives them seizures. Kind of like they do to me when I see them. Can you tell I've tried many ways to kill them? Palmettos? Pish. Squash and done. At least they don't CHASE you.
I want more towels. I just saw the spa ones marked down, and I miss the bath q.

I found a $5 off $50 grocery one tonight, still inside the store. Scratchhead Is this smart? I don't consider paper supplies and dog/cat food as 'grocery', but does target for the use of this Q?
In the past, it has seemed to consider that ifyou bought $50 of anything in that store, it was grocery.

That being said, I used one the other day and it would NOT go through - and ALL I had was grocery items. She had to key it in manually/generically. I don't know if it was just my store or dumb T being dumb T again.

Holy f'ing hell, I cried hysterically when I saw a spider when my dad and I were moving a table for a garage sale. I can't remember what my dad said it was (and I saw about 2 seconds of spiders when I googled it and couldn't take it), but he said it was probably poisonous. EEK!

I didn't sleep that night. At all.

You guys will appreciate this pic [imgur.com]. DH found it on one of his techie-dork sites. The caption said "Target is really proud of their computer system." In case you can't see it the name on the computer says: RealPOS

Does anyone know why every single farking time I post to one of my threads I lose the subscription. It is SO annoying.

I've heard a lot of folks have been having this problem with their subs. Supposedly SD is trying to figure it out, but it's been going on for months. Sorry!

Nah, once I found that wasp spray works, I stick to that. Plus, they have a 25 foot spray range, so I don't have to get so close it chases me.

What's really bad is when I don't realize it right away and then 3 days pass and I think, damn, I'm sure someone has posted SOMETHING in the deals thread. Ugh.

That is an interesting thing. I have never seen anything like it. I want it primarily for cooking eggs for my husband. I do use it for other stuff occasionally, but seriously, it's primary function is over easy egg cooker.

Actually, I looked on ebay earlier today. My hesitation is that sometimes as they get old they don't get as hot -- which is what is happening to mine. I think. But then again, it could be my imagination.

I hate spiders of all kind. Someday, I plan to ask God what the hell he was thinkin'! Those are particularly evil looking. I don't see a lot of them around here. I didn't realize about the eye shine though. OMG I can't imagine. Wait, yes I can. It's a horrible, horrible image!

Can you just sticky it so it's easier to find?

Hubby was working on the soffit today. Every time I went outside I was attacked by those damn bugs. It was horrible. I wanted to hang out out there just to be with him and help if he wanted it. Anyway, I finally sprayed some bug spray on and went out -- even that didn't work. It wasn't the Deep Woods Off, it was some other bottle of Off that obviously doesn't work. So, then I came in the house and sat down and was reading a book... and I got bit in the arm pit by lady bug beetle. I swear, I am almost looking forward to winter.

Does anyone else think the retail industry is sponsoring all the stories that state couponing is bad? laugh out loud Either that or their financial "experts" are really bad at shopping.

4. Clipping Unneeded Coupons
We all feel the pinch in this tougher economy, especially when buying groceries. Clipping coupons is downright trendy today -- but is it really such a good habit? Sure, getting 50 cents off that package of cookies or that brand-name detergent is a discount, but you may be surprised to find that your grocery bill isn't really going down despite all your coupon clipping. The truth is that buying generic brands that are just as tasty is often cheaper; coupons can make us buy things even we didn't plan for.

Start with a grocery list for the week, and then look at your clipped coupons. If you can use one, great, but try supermarket brands too for the best bottom line.

I was reading one night in the Site Questions, Issues and ?? forum and I was surprised to see that there actually is a sticky limit of 25. Once you sticky more than that, something drops off.
Dontknow about subscriptions, as I don't use them.

Gt - I think you need to search on electric griddles and choose either aluminum or cast iron. I've seen several aluminum plates that you can put over 2 burners and lots of cast iron ones. All this for eggs? To each his own. I haven't eaten a plain egg (scrambled, hard boiled, etc) in at least a year, which is probably why my cholesterol was 117 when they pulled my blood work 2 weeks ago.
