I'd be the slow one though... I really need to learn to pick up the pace and be a bit more organized.

I would love one too. Of course if you and I were shopping together, it would be a snail's pace because both of us would be the slow one :ro ll:
I am at a snails pace to, by the time I check as much clearance as I can and then get the items I planned to, I am always in T for over 2 hours sometimes 4!! (maybe more if I have diapers to change and potty, snakc breaks) That is why I'm thinking it may be faster with a TCC buddy, divide and conquer. We are all usually getting similar deals. Especially if runs are mostly planned before hand and you know what clearance your most interested in. Then if one finds new or something cool on clearance you can txt, even sent pics, etc. Dontknow never done it so maybe not. But it does sound fun.

I would LOVE to shop with you.. it would be fun!! Anytime you come here or I go anywhere near you... we can SHOP til we drop... Wink

I know all too well what you mean... I have tried to give my parents advice on how to coupon shop but my dad expects me to buy all the coupons, load the cart for them, figure out how much oop and all.. it is just tooooooooo much for me to take on at times...

It is the thought that counts and the feel of being appreciated!! Your bff dh sounds like an arse...sorry!!

Awww sweetie... you sound like me... we have lots of stuff and I always end up giving away tons... like everything we don't use as I have never had a gs yet... Karma will be good to you... I hate people that beg all the time... mind you times are hard but if you use the gs to help pay for x, you will have less to pay for x and it is taking away from your family. I have given away tons, literally so much stuff it is ridicolous... but it makes me feel good but once someone starts begging me for it or asking in a way like I owe them something... then I decide to pullback.. just my thought...
I do love to shop till I drop. Especially when they are all good runs!

Yeah, I am so not into spoon feeding the deals and filling shopping carts & handing the Qs. It is just to much. I can barely get it done for myself. Well unless it is for DH and he is shopping for us. Sometimes he will do it.

I feel the same way about giving stuff away. Thankfully only the one person asks and I can handle that, she doesn't do it every month, at least not yet.

Ahhh - the ol' stinkbug. I've put the fear of the stinkbug into my kids....they run from them!

Unfortunately, or fortunately (depending on how you look at it) I mean what I say to my kids. Now, that doesn't mean I'm never lazy and repeat the same thing 10 times before I get up and make them listen. But, I try not to do this. Life is so much easier and kids and parents happier when kids know you mean it.

I am so going to have my daughter watch that video. So very very sad. I'm so sorry this happened to both families.
Yes, much easier when kids know you mean it.

Hopefully lots of kids can learn from someone elses mistake and be very carefull driving.

:scra tchh: How can I be print limit reached for Qs I've never printed at coupons.com?

I'm at work and only one other person can log in to my computer, but I sincerely doubt the IT person would be printing Qs from it. I've never printed Tilex, Litehouse dressing, Caribou Coffee, Go 360 Clean, Dannon DanActive, Listerine for Kids, Scrubbing Bubbles, Lice MD Sick, Garnier Nutritioniste, and a different Scrubbing Bubbles but they ALL show as print limit reached. :scra tchh:

Makes me wonder about HDD's problem. . .
That is weird. I usually only get that message if the campaign is over or I have printed but that is a lot of Q. You haven't given any IPs away have you?

That's part of them. I have a few new things this year. Including a blimp and balloon that need to be suspended so they are "flying".
Yes it is kinda early for that, lol. But no wonder, that looks nice. I don't do much at all outside maybe put up a few strings of lights here and there and a few tiny trees on the porch.

Please tell me you are kidding me..And I thought I will be fine by tomm...Does this thing have a name or do I need antibiotics...
As soon as I start feeling sick I try to nip it in the bud by helping my body fight whatever it is off. I suck vitamin C and zinc drops. I start taking 500 vitamin c three times a day. I mince a little garlic clove up in tiny pieces and let the enzymes activate in the air for 5 min and then scoop it up on a teaspoon and swallow it with a huge gulp of OJ, I do it that two times a day for a few days. Take a nap and get extra sleep. If I do all those things I don't get sick. Plus I drink some tea with honey a few times a day. The only time it hasn't worked was when I got sick from eating pig poop spinach, and the swine flu.

Actually if I am around a sick person I start with the drops right away. IIRC the zinc neutralizes the sick germs and can kill them off before they get a chance to make you sick. DH always has them when he travels, especially on the plane.

unfortunately, there is only so much you can do for someone. i need to stop. i'm getting very disenchanted and troubled about the whole thing and i need to go food shopping.
Your right and in the end you need to take care of yourself and your family above all others, imo.

Hubby and I both recovered in about the same amount of time without antibiotics. We both did Mucinex for close to a week and nasal spray as needed for 2 or 3 days to keep the head open - which in turn kept the headache at bay. Oh, we also took Allevert all week too.

Oh, Thank God, I'm not the only one. I have never wet my pants and needed to change them though. LMAO

*laugh*

I'm thinking if we all shopped together it'd turn into an all day thing... We'd just have too much fun.

Slowtech - hug definitely take care of yourself. There are just some folks who are takers - and the more you give the more they take. They ask for advice because they think it makes them look concerned or like a good person/parent, etc... After a while, though, you realize you are wasting your time and mental energy on someone that doesn't really care after all.

We have some friends that know how to coupon like I do - walked 'em through it, they did it on their own, etc... Now, they don't know how to find the bestest deals (cuz they don't know about sd) or the best way to get extra q's, but that's not info I hand out to beginners anyways. They go in spurts as for couponing, but they chose not to do it hardcore like me - mainly because it *does* take time and they'd rather spend that time on something else. I don't mind because they know how to do it, and if they wanted to be like me they know to (and would) come ask for more info. Occasionally, they'll ask if we have an extra bottle of detergent, a stick of deodorant, if there's a deal on coke, etc... and I don't mind handing it over at all because they aren't taking advantage of me. I also know that if I called them up right now and said come watch the kids while I go to the hospital or even "can I borrow your car for a week", they'd be on my doorstep in less than 5 minutes. They'd even come from out of town or a special event if I asked or needed.

Now there's another lady in the neighborhood that I have to be careful with. She's a widow, and she has a 10 y.o. son, so I feel deeply for her and I do feel that I should give and help her out as much as possible - BUT she is also very unwise with her money and I have to be careful that she doesn't start using us as her own personal shopping center just so she can buy more stuff off of QVC. I've offered to show her how to do the deals, but she hasn't taken me up on it and has even said "oh, that's just too much time/work." So, I occasionally send over meals or extras of this or that when we get 'em or things they may need if DD hears something from the little boy - but I do not offer her free access to my whole stockpile 24/7 and I don't tell her all the great deals I got in a particular week!

Fishing poles... that's what I want to give out. Fishing poles!

Anyway...

I think I'm going to try a quick run tonight. Smilie

I made it crystal clear with my trainee (or actually her husband who works with me) that I'm teaching you how to fish. I won't feed you fish after the first couple of weeks, so you either get it and learn how to fish on your own, or you don't. He tells me he feels guilty when I cut extra Qs for him for products I know they buy and I don't, but if I'm cutting for the SIL, the paper guy and whoever else asks for them, why not cut his too?

MOT2, I'm sorry you feel bad. I hope you are over it soon and that the whole family doesn't catch whatever it is.

OMG. Going crazeeeeee.

DS came home from school early cause he was sick. First thing he wanted was to go outside and play. When DH told him no, he went to sleep. I am guessing that was around 4:00. He just now woke up, wired like the motor on a greyhound bus, and pissy cause he doesn't like the pj's I bought him today. My 2 year old is refusing to go to bed and is currently "shooting" everyone with the oversized/overpriced Nerf gun. *note to self: remove batteries from all toys in the morning* My 4 year old is in bed engrossed in Enchanted princess movie, for the moment. River is cutting 4 molars and has a snotty nose, fever, and a cough. She'll be up all night again. I bought a movie to watch cause, seriously, I never get to do that and looks like tonight won't be my night for watching it. Maybe next year.

DH went to get his tattoo finished. He will probably roll in around 2 in the morning to find me bald, manic, and locked in the closet.

And he can just damn well be grateful that you are still there and didn't lock all those kids in the closet.

My DS did too. Then, we made the rule, if he stays home, no electronics or going outside. He can stay in bed and read. After the first few times of his sister playing games, watching tv, playing with friends, he started going to school. He was so bored by the end of the day. He still does it once in awhile, but it's about once every 9 weeks, instead of a few times a week.

If they are really sneaky (like our teen DD and DS were), we'd make them bring us all of their power cords and electronics out of their rooms when they were grounded. Otherwise, they would be in there watching tv or playing games late at night when we were in bed.

My oldest DS kept getting into trouble and not listening, even with grounding, so we finally gave up and made him copy word for word the first 100 pages of Harry Potter. The faster he got done, the faster he was not in "punishment" anymore. He dragged it out for a few weeks, then started copying really quick to get it done. Never had much problem out of him after that.

You just have to be creative Wink

When my kids were in public school, I did the same thing. Too sick for school meant too sick for play. And I love your punishment idea!
