I dragged my butt to Walgreens, trying to use up some Qs and to get myself all drugged up and feeling better. Horrible experience with coupons, I'll probably never go back.

I couldn't find a single innocent looking icon either.

I'm don't have much experience in the department but saw part of one at a HS party. (Don't ask how a naive girl like me ended up at a party like that, I swear I was the only sober one there) I was mortified, amused, and intrigued at the movie all at the same time. Every once in a while I still think it might be amusing to find an old copy of it to watch all the way through some weekend when the DH & DS are out of town (My husband would kill me if he knew I ever bought something like that. So I keep secretly hoping some girlfriend will buy it for me.)

Why would your DH kill you? Ummm perhaps I should search the title first..

This is how it is and is going to be here. I have friends who definitely had TV's in their kids' room by the time they were 3. Uhhhhh....no.

I've had a busy day, will leave you all a couple pics of what I got done on the table today, basically I've stained the legs separately and attached the aprons, etc. to the legs. The rest will have to happen in our garage and the whole thing should be done by Friday as I don't want our cars having to sit out longer than that overnight.....DH took an extra day off this week so I could take my time and he can watch the kidlet Nope, that is not backwards...I've come to the conclusion that I actually like doing what I can completely by myself. I'm a perfectionist and dh is not:

Tanner is watching karate kid. River woke up, cried, went back to bed after about 30 min. of momma snuggles. Makena is crashed. Ambree is outside telling my sister what she needs to be doing. (she's so bossy these days)

I still have all of my hair, I don't feel manic, and I haven't had to go anywhere near a closet.

DH is still gone and my meds have kicked in so I'm doing everything possible to stay awake.

I work 1:15 to 9:45 tomorrow and it's gonna be the suck. I wish more coupon peeps would come to my store and shop. It really does make my day go better. So all you DFW peeps that wanna coupon, PM me

I am one of those people. We have a TV in our room, living room, and each kids' bedroom.:

meeshe, when dh was at sea, I couldn't sleep without the TV on. We didn't have kids until almost 5 years after we married (I can't imagine that eerie quiet now ) and it's a habit I can't break. If the satellite goes out, or there is a power outage I can't sleep. Does that count as watching TV if it's background noise while I read
eta had to share something cool. I had entered a raffle at Borders last week (educator week promotion) while I was there using the lovely 40% off coupon. Accidentally bought How to Train Your Dragon book 4, went back today to get book 1 for dd. When the employee at the promotion table saw me she said to hold on because she had my prize: I got a few free books with instruction guides, bookmarks, a reindeer Webkinz and a LEGO Toy Story trash compactor set! Yeah my 8 yr old is all about Bionicle/Hero Factory/ Star Wars sets but the Toy Story stuff is cute too. And, it was free.

And yesterday I found a Nintendo DS Lego Star Wars case (pieces on it are actually Lego) for $4, and a Star Wars tin lunch box DS starter kit/ case with car charger and skins for $2! Yeah, ds and dh are absolutely Star Wars fans.

Had to comment...NEVER and I repeat NEVER leave your stockpile unattended. That same trip dh and I took last month where my dd decided to illegally drive the car....well, my sister-in-law watched our little kids. And, she had to exchange them at some point with my Mother-in-law so they met at our house where my MIL has the code to get in the house. So, my SIL (who I personally haven't spoken to in a few years - issues) goes into my stockpile and "shops". She literally sends my dh a text saying "I went shopping in your basement. Hope you don't mind". WTH!?!?!?! You want to go shopping? I can tell you where you can get the same stuff - TARGET. She said she'd tell us what she took and I could tell her how much I'd want for it. Like I'd do that - she just watched our kids for a few days I'm not going to say "give me $5 for that candle". (And, mind you I didn't ask her to watch the kids - dh set the whole trip up for my bday and he knows I wasn't thrilled with his choice of babysitters). I still don't know all she took...my MIL told me some stuff. And, get this - she took my brand new Bath&Body Works candle my neighbor gave me for my birthday. I just got it the day before I left. Just because I stuck it on my candle shelf DOES NOT mean it is an extra. I didn't have any more like that - why would she take that? Glade - ok. Bath and Body Works - not ok.

Hyland's teething tablets have been helping the crankiness.
Unfortunately my wife seems to be coming down with some crud so I'm home with my son.

They scheduled DS's surgery for next Thursday. Only has to have one, the will do a graft for his 'new' ACL, then 9 months of work until he is back to normal. He is a little bummed he will miss baseball in the spring, but with all of the rehab, should be pretty buff for football next year! Now, anyone have a coupon for an anesthesiologist, surgeon, PT, etc?

News crew hit a local target store here and fortunately or unfortunatley (haven't figured out which ) got the CS treatment that is so common around here. Actually refused to honor his $$ of multiples and told him to take it somewhere else News reporter and consumer affiars were not impresseed . Video link if anyone is interested .

Oh YES I'm interested. May be like watching a train wreck as I still fall in the camp of its better to roll with the punches and not rock the boat but still would love to see it.
