I'm drinking some coffee... thank you! Big Grin

I'd be making myself fast. laugh out loud

Tanner (DS) somehow managed to cut his toe so off to the ER we went. Poor baby. It was gushing blood and it's all over the place. Going to have to shampoo carpet tomorrow. He got stitches and we go back in 12 days to have them removed. What a night.
hug

Seems like a night for kiddie accidents!

Try blotting the blood with peroxide. If carpet is colored, you may want to test in a small area first.

My toddler fell on her face today. Busted her lip inside big time. Fat lip, blood, yada yada... all to add to her already black eye from friday! I swear, someone is going to think we beat this girl. Oh, then I noticed tonight that her lip is split a little on the outside. I don't know if that was always there and we hadn't noticed it because of the bad cut inside her mouth, or if it happened due to swelling of her lip or if she somehow injured herself again, or what!

And all of that to say "thank goodness we have hardwood floors downstairs..." Ugh. I'd hate to have to clean up blood from the carpet!

And I'm stillllllll having issues getting myself organized for Kroger. I think I'm in a funk. Frown

Thinking here... (I know... dangerous). Do you have spices or any staples (flour, sugar?)

You could brown the ground beef, wrap in egg roll wrappers with olives and eat. If you have cheese, add some cheese. If you have onions/garlic/celery - add that to the gr. beef. You could just eat it plain. I actually like ground beef with a little salt & pepper. (but I'm weird, so take that as you will...) You could crush up the cereal, add some butter, press into the bottom of a pie pan or into muffin cups... chop olives very fine and mix with blackberry jam (or just skip the olives and dab some jam on top) and bake.

If you have flour, eggs, water/milk - you could try pancakes or crepes and fill with jam.

Or... you could take your 35 boxes of cereal and go to the neighbor's house. Say "I have this box of cereal, could you trade me something else edible for it??" You could even say you are doing a trading game. See what you can get from doing that. If they give you something you don't like, can't use, or don't want... go to the next neighbor and try to trade that.

Heck, that sounds kind of fun. I may do that. Okay, well, *I* won't... but I'm sure I could get my teen to do it! laugh out loud

you guys are funny. hugs to all the little ones getting bumps and bruises and cuts.

the haunting saga continues and I'm getting NO sleep. So now DD and my friends think I should get the ghost people to come out and do their thing in the house. Why, is what I say. So they tell me I have a ghost, what difference will that make. He'll still be here. He's young, therefore he doesn't bother me, just DD laugh out loud well, there are those strange things that fall onto the floor upstairs but thats just annoying.

So last night we had dinner with my neice and when we got home, I opened the door and promply yelled, Hi Honey, we're home!!

FTR, I really don' think my house is haunted, don't believe in seeing translucent people roaming around....but I would like to know what keeps falling onto the floor upstairs. First time it happened it scared me silly and the dog went crazy, but now we're just kind of used to it.

Oh well, it's scaring DD so she decided to crawl into bed with me. So I had her and her big belly and 2 dogs in my bed. NO sleep for me Annoyed

I had taken the trash bag out of the trash can to go outside in the bin for pick up tomorrow. It was laying beside the counter. He decided to climb on it to get something off the counter. I cooked cream corn for dinner and I guess the can or the lid to the can came through and sliced his foot. That's the only solution I can come up with. It was a nasty gash. About an inch long and wide open.
That is so horrible, but lucky!

When I was 9ish and my little brother was 5/6, my mother was in the shower and said we could make choclate milk but there was only one "Silly Straw" left so we raced to the kitchen to be the first to grab it and I hurled him out of my way and he landed on top the garbage bag laying in the kitchen waiting to be taken out. His wrist landed parallel with the tuna can lid and sliced it wide open - the bad way - I grabbed a kitchen towel then yelled to my mother, she came out of the shower with suds still in her hair and off to the ER we went. He had to be put in the little kid straight jacket board thingy while they sewed him up.

Forgot to mention.. Last night I had DH climb in the attic and get down my toy stash..

Anyway, I am so thankful. I have a ton of stuff for my toddler.. Heck, I got stuff for her next 2 Christmas and birthday. But, the coolest thing is I found enough little stuff like moon sand, coloring books, crayons, lps toys, etc.. to fill up several shoe boxes for the Operation Christmas child.. and I have a nice stack of donation toys for toys for tots..
I took a HUGE box of stuff to our Awana program for Operation Christmas Child, too woot That was fun! Did you notice that they wanted toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, school supplies & deoderant, too? Got that covered LOL Our pastor asked dh when we brought the box if we robbed a store. LMAO

I did not know that about coffee mate!

I had to re-read what Jamie wrote too OMG

My mom sent me out to get my brother who was riding his bike in the driveway b/c it was about to storm. I tried telling him to come in and when that didn't work and the rain started, I grabbed him off the bike and ran for the garage, only I tripped and dropped him Frown He cut his head in a big way on the rocks and we had to go the er after mom saw all the blood. I still feel bad but the little brat deserved it for not coming in in the first place. laugh out loud Luckily he was too small to remember or I'd still be hearing about it. ZzZZz

Yeah, the toe is still there. He was late to school and begged me not to make him go to recess. Not because of his toe, but because apparently a little girl in his class is bullying him. I've spoken with the teacher (she's awesome) and she's spoken to the counselor. Today they will be talking to the little girl and her parents.

He's in K for crying out loud! At first I thought it was that "fun flirty hahaha I like you" stuff. She would chase him around the playground and kinda push him in a playful way. (or so I thought) But every day Tanner came home saying she was being really mean until the other day when he said she pulled his shirt and choked him, called him names, and then punched him in the stomach.

Geezus.

laugh out loud I don't know if it's the same ghost. I've been hearing things drop on the floor upstairs since I moved in. I don't know what DD saw LMAO I refuse to believe in ghosts so I'm just gonna stay with 'unexplained noises'.

Got a call from the oncology office today. Doc wants to see me Friday. They wouldn't give me the results of my tests over the phone, which really irritates me as I hate waiting. I'm sure it's gonna be ok, but after all that, I can't help but be nervous. I do work in mental health so I think I'll go round up a valium or two from one of these docs...just to make the waiting easier Roll

Thanks tn! Looks like there might be some good possibilities.
I got the P&G insert in my local paper today. Most of the P&G BOGOs are 01. The only one that isn't is Crest Rinse (Buy One 946ml or larger, Get One 500ml or smaller). I was also hoping for another $10 toothbrush one, because I still have a RC for the Vitality at CVS....oh well, you win some and you lose some.

Some of my cashiers are getting better at handling all my Qs, some not so much. The ones that scrutinize every word on every Q take all the fun right out of it. On my last trip I almost just asked for all my Qs back and walked away. But this is my only (convenient) T, so I suffered through it and added that cashier to my Reading Rainbow list.
