Anybody know any drugstores or grocery stores or whatnot that have cheap liquid foundation this week or next? It needs to be under $3.50 after Qs. :/

cathi, I had a rather large transaction yesterday (bought 4 copies of TS3) and still had problems with gift cards and coupons. Frown My TS3 coupons came up 0.00 so I did missed coupons for those at customer service.
OH geez, a new wrinkle (other than the padding ) in the GC promos.. Yeah I tried to do a missed Q at cs . and it went downhill from there. , after fitteen min and calls to cs finally got it resolved. Maybe they fixed the xx/2or three and are now messing with the GC... I already won't even try to use those those xx/2or three just to much hassel.
I give up Again ! Mad

i don't, BUT... how about just getting some samples from sephora and dept stores? i have really sensitive skin and store lighting is always off, so a few years ago, i went to different counters and got a few shades/types from each brand i was interested in... lasted me several weeks while i figured out what was good. at the time i was really low on finances, just finishing up grad school and starting a job. so this was a big help.

when i figured out the right shade i went back and got some more samples of that shade to tide me over till i could save enough to buy some. Embarrassment


another option... do the sinex deal at wags. use the RRs to buy the foundation. Big Grin

My total was still over $200 and coupons started scanning at 0.00. I did get a lot of Olay, Curel, and Glade though. Big Grin

Unfortunately, I'm not close to a Sephora (about an hour away) and the department stores here don't do samples- I've tried many times.

No go on the Sinex deal at Wags today- totally OOS. I'm tempted to dip into my ECBs, but I at least need a decent sale for that to happen.

Just got back from T. Looks like an update hit my store - and it's a good one!! Smilie

Tag toy book coupon beeps on Tag Jr (TS3 clearance), but was an easy K1. Forgot to print Leapster MQ - have to do a missed coupon.

Beneful coupons took off full $2 without any intervention!!!!! bounce Cost of each was $1.57

Was able to use 6 $2 MQs on 6 TGI Fridays meals with no issues.

Halloween candy was 50%, everything else was 75%.

That's a great idea about the puzzles.

We've been doing the songs - she already knows twinkle twinkle, ring around the rosey, and a couple others. She doesn't know itsy bitsy spider or head, shoulders, knees and toes. We've also worked on a new one that introduces letter sounds - I'm doing 1 letter/letter sound a week with my toddler, so I am doing that with both of them.

She does have some vocab already. She seems to be a bit hesitant, and I think some of it is both shyness and being unsure and unused to speaking English. My oldest daughter also mentioned that she may be scared because where they are from in India the teachers will beat them for getting things wrong - or so she says the oldest daughter in the family has said.

She LOVES when I read stories - and will repeat them as I read. My 3 y.o. is pretty much the same way, so that works well.

I guess I'm trying to figure out what is a good balance - should I be very "formal" in my teaching, or more relaxed and fluid? I don't want her parents to feel like we do nothing, but I don't want to push so hard that she freaks out or doesn't want to do it - kwim?

I did notice she becomes more open while they are "playing", so I plan to do more of that. I was thinking of trying to stage some playtime - i.e. playing tea party, picnic, shopping, restaurant, etc...

She also likes to color, so we talk about the picture, colors, etc... but there's only so much "talking" that gets done with that. Even so, it's a nice break sometimes and I think she feels extra excited and proud when I hang the picture up on the door.

I'm finding this experience both interesting, fun, and challenging.

I would like to challenge you both. LMAO When we lived in Hawaii, a friend of mine sold Mary Kay. They had to special order the lightest foundation for me, and comments were made about living in Hawaii and being so ghostly pale. Two of the kids have my complexion. Poor 11 yr old dd burns in less than 30 minutes, even with sunscreen. I don't burn but the sun isn't kind anyway.
