BTW, I thought I'd heard that the registers at WM will only take a max of 20 Qs. But I've also heard about people using more than that. Is there a limit that you guys know of?
Seems funny to think you would have a Target but not a Wal-Mart. I have to drive an hour for either one but I have WMs in all directions and Super Target in one.

Last week I used 5 of the $5 Olay, 30 of the $2 Beneful, and a few others that escape me in one transaction. It did require the supervisor (or whatever they are) to come over and turn the key but it took them all.

On another note. I am fluctuating between wanting to do the outside Christmas stuff and thinking, eh, it's a lot of work, I won't bother this year -- interspersed with extreme urges to do it NOW. Last night the neighbor lady was putting our her things and asked me to help her with a couple. (I had told her previously I would). So, technically, I could do mine now while the weather is still nice and not be the first nut case on the block. Must resist the urge.

Wish I could say my experiences had made me a better person but I thinks it scard me, I once was very happy and a very sweet person. For the past few years I have become very angry, and or sad, its funny cause happy has been hard for me lately. I have always been overly stressed, and it seems like it has just been intensifying lately.

I know I probably shouldn't have said so much, because who knows what people are thinking at this point. But I have no one to talk to so, this is a release for me that is much needed

I literally hate in laws.. some people have great ones... but for instance my brother in law lives in FL and he will call us up and ask us to pay his airfare up here and if we don't we are jerks and he doesn't wanna be bothered.. mind you, he is almost 40!! He can't hold down a job b/c he doesn't want to and thinks everyone else should be responsible for him.. dislike it Frown My mother in law will purposely buy our kids dollar store items when we go to her house for Christmas eve while the kids watch their cousins opening nicer stuff from Target or whereever... then I am told that I need to make sure the kids appreciate it...last year my now 8 year old left there balling her eyes out cause she realized the huge difference between them and their cousins gifts..
I dont like my mil (well ex mil, Ive been separated for 3 yrs) She just doesn't live her life the way a grandma should. She drinks all the time and smokes pot. I remember one time being at her house for a cookout when my DS1 was about 2yrs old. We went outside and she was smoking pot... I was so pissed of..I called dh and told him to get his ass over there now to take us home. Thats just not something I want my kids around. She got all pissy talking about its her house! Well no shit its your house but dont invite us over if you gonna be doing that stuff. Anyhow, she hasnt talked to my kids in years, doesn't call them , doesn't send cards..nothing! I'm 100% ok with it because I dont want a person like that in my kids lives.

Geezz I hate ur mil and I dont even know her. Thats really messed up..what a bitch. I would so say something to her. My mom always tries to do things equally for her grandkids.

My parents can barely use their computers. A few weeks ago, it took me 30 minutes and written instructions to teach my dad how to copy and paste laugh out loud He's 61, so it's a bit different. My mom can pretty much check her email and get to Youtube, where she gets distracted by political videos and cute animal videos, hehe.

Holy-wait-too-long-to-make-up-my-mind Batman!!! Sheesh! I *was* going to order some TGIF q's from my fav clipper, but they are now down to 7!!!! They had over 300!!!! EEK! That's some serious freezer meals. Frown All I did was walk away to ask DH his opinion on how many q's I could/should order!
As rumored earlier this week, my new SS has the $2/1 TGIF Skillet MQs (exp 1/03/11), . So, hopefully there will be more available for you to buy soon. I'm heading to the Dollar Tree to get more inserts, as I only need a set of 6 - my freezer is stuffed at the moment!

I share the feeling. My kids kind of got screwed when it comes to grandparents. Hubby parents just aren't good grandparents. Not mean, just disinterested. My daughter never spent a night there and spent one and that was because my daughter was put in the hospital, Grandpa stopped by on his way home and just out of blue took my son home and brought him back the next morning. Now, other grand kids spent the night, but not ours and I really think it was more "here they are, they are staying" and off went the parents. Now at Christmas everything was even so none of that bullshit.

I remember once, my daughter's best friend was saying something about her Grandpa who was visiting and my daughter said, "I wish I had a Grandpa". She wasn't being a smart ass -- he just didn't cross her mind. I said, "Her Name, you do have a Grandpa". She just shrugged and said, "Oh, yeah, I forgot". Boy, talk about making me wanna bawl.

My dad died right after I got married so they just had my mom who was and is a good Granny. When my son was little he would go home with her and not come back for 2 or 3 days. When he was in the hospital for 2 months and I didn't leave, my mom kept for my daughter the entire time and brought her up (40 miles) every other day to see us. He used to stop and pick my sister's kids up and bring them home all the time.

I'm 32 and holding (we're not talking about my bday next month....Annoyed ) My dh and I have been together for 15 years and married for 13. I was 19 when we got married Wink

A glob of shortening, melted -- 1/3 cup ish Butter Flavor Crisco is good, but any will do.
3/4 - 1 cup of popcorn
Use your largest pan -- I use my 5 quart dutch oven

Lid on, high heat, wait for it to pop. When the popping slows down slide it off the heat and wait for the popping to stop.

Drizzle with a ridiculously large amount real butter. Oh, wait, that's optional.
I'm sorry, ma'am, but that won't be possible. The baby doesn't have a room. No room, no baby.
That seems like a good question of the day. How long have you been married?

Had a STFC run today, then this guy walks up behind me and shouts "I never knew SO MANY CPOUPONS even EXISTED!'' just as I had about a dozen or so Qs left. He goes to another regisater, pays and leaves, I follow out shortly after that. I told my DS#1 to park the cart the under the trunk lift gate as I buckle the baby in. Just after I close her door I hear a L.O.U.D. rev of a engine and then a big ass boom - crash.

That stupid MFer that had made the comment to me earlier is parked right next to me and floored it - bashed into the MACH truck extra kid cart that HE had left right in front of his SUV and smashed it into the Target building, then it comes and rolls into my BRAND NEW VW!!! At this point I am shaking in fear, but decide to check out my car for any damage, there is none but the guy starts going, ''It is fine, SHUT UP KIDS, it's not even my cart, someone left it right in front of my car"

I'm all like (in my head) right asshole, I saw you in the store with it, then I realize he is most likely drunk but it is raining freezing cold rain drops at 48 degrees and I'm not wearing a coat and I am trembling in fear already -- I cant find my phone, I am worried for the 2 kids I have with me and the pen that is supposed to be in my purse ISN"T. He the pulls away - nicely out of the space - but then peels out around the corner to pull in front of T - where all the people get in and out of EEK!

I got 4 pillow pets at Kohls with 30% off and Kohls cash back for $13.99 each with $10 KC back. They will be doing 30% off again starting Wed

I know you can use *junkie
people are scary. No wonder we prefer our meanie TCC peeps hug

Ugh. My kiddos were up last night also. DS sounds like an 80 year old chain smoker with his croup, and the baby woke up screaming because she had pooped and has horrible diaper rash. BUT... DH let me sleep until 10:30 this morning. Roll

Don't know about any deals, but the Pop Secret Homestyle popcorn is the best microwave popcorn I've ever had. Ever.

My sisters is going up $180 per paycheck. She is pissed.

Oh, I so miss free pizza Friday. In light of the current TGIF deal, I'm instituting free fajita Friday at my house... effective immediately. : whee:

: whee:

9 years and a few months.

Soooo... I had a VERY interesting run this afternoon. *snip*
.
Bigeye Oh my!!! LOL!! I finally broke down and bought some TGIF MQs from the bay so I can grab a pile of these for my freezer. I'm liking Free Fajita Friday Evil I guess I'll have to hit the deals thread wiki to figure out the specifics of the deal and wtf (where to find) on the TQs for the deal Doh

Quote from kallison423 :
I thought the same thing (I'm 25)- I guess I just mentally pictured everyone as late 20s to mid 30s? I can't imagine having kids or being married right now.

But, you know, I hate people cause I'm a meanie and all that Stick Out Tongue
Wink It's funny how we picture people for sure. I'm 32 and starting this couponing stuff when ds was a baby and I realized how $$ everything was!

does anyone have any experience with the Giada cookware? I've been on the lookout for the set mentioned here a while back for stainless steel and hoping there would be a great Black Friday special on it...

No personal experience but 4.5 stars over 19 reviews on target.com......I look into that a lot when I purchase and I'd say that is pretty good. The tri-ply is a real plus when it comes to SS. I think Sears had some stainless sets in their BF ad too.

Hello, everyone! Had an eventful morning...was brushing out my mare when she decided to rear up and catch me in the ribs with a hoof. I went down just in time to see her jump over me. Total fluke, she's 17 years old and has never hurt a fly up till today. Frown She got a workout afterwards to teach her that she wasn't in charge, and she was good as gold.

Was going to run to T this afternoon...think I'll stay home and take ibuprofen instead.

Thank you both for the info Smilie
