My cravings are boring - steak and broccoli are my big ones and chicken noodle soup. I already told you about my unreasonable obsession with caramel apples...let's see....and Coke! Lately, I've been craving soda pop. Normally, when pregnant I avoid caffeine if at all possible but over the last 4 weeks I've been swilling 2 Dr. Pepper's a day Embarrassment

We are all very excited about the baby. My husband and I completed our family when we had our daughter River and have never had reservations about any of our choices.

As some of you know, my sister lost her baby last year when he was born at almost 24 weeks gestation. After a 10 day struggle he went to sleep forever. It has been quite the year with a lot of ups and downs for our entire family. Having lost Anthony was a very heart wrenching time for all of us and my sister was told she most likely wouldn't be able to carry to term.

Though this was an unplanned pregnancy, it certainly isn't one that is lacking in love. My husband and I have decided to have this baby for my sister. I never dreamt that I'd be pregnant with another baby, I never imagined holding my nephew seconds after his last breath, and I think that God gave us this blessing for her.

So sometime around July 20th my niece or nephew will be born into a world of boundless happiness and overwhelming love.

I hope that I can get the support here that I will most certainly need over the coming months.
WOW! All I can say is WOW (tear) (tear). My heart just swelled. HUGS!

NOT.AT.ALL.

Being single, never married, never pregnant I used to share a "Indulge a Craving Night" with a good friend in Virginia who now has 8 kids (we bartered for babysitting... I got free home maintenance by her handy hubby and she got free sitting when she needed it). Indulge a Craving Night was a night out for her without kids and she got to name where ever we went and I paid for it. Sometimes, it was onion rings at Sonic and we'd take them to Ruby Tuesdays Teehee because she was craving something from there too or a fried chicken sandwich from Burger King and then head over to a salad place, so she'd have both. I used to laugh at what crazy things she was craving, as she was totally the health food nut, and she'd be munching on onion rings or chicken sandwiches.

The roasted chicken recipe sounds drool

Jamie, you made me get tears in my eyes, and I am SO not a crier!! Wow. So many of my cousins have had fertility issues, but everything in the end worked out. Can't wait to share the experience with you!

Speaking of babies, my sweet little nephew pulled his feeding tube out the other night, and began taking every feeding by bottle! He will go home today or tomorrow!!!! with follow up visits to every specialist in the area, trying to figure him out. He will still need to get transfusions as long as his platelets don't stabilize.

Holy shhpoop. My store has a jewelry counter but it's literally just a few feet from the front check out. None in men's, none in women's. Just a front checkout with, I think 2 cashiers. (It could be 3 but I'm pretty sure it's 2)
Same here- the girl at jewelry and at the front registers are SO close to each other and always chatting. So I try to find a a piece of jewelry on clearance, buy that, then hit the other registers, then go back to the register closest by jewelry. Gotta spread the love Big Grin

Don't think I have ever had a Claussen pickle, that I know of anyway. My Grandma or my older brother always supplied us with homemade. I am down to my last jar, tho, so may need to check these out.

Oh, and 2" of snow on the ground, finally turned the furnace on, and had to wear a coat to work!

Shhhh, no talk of onion rings here. Do you remember what happened the last time we talked of onion rings? I made them. And then somehow it turned into making a banana cream pie. Onion rings are dangerous, then can take over the body and make you do bad, bad things. No more talk or I will be right out there in the kitchen making them.

Ok, I caved in and started decorating... just a little bit. The window boxes are done --- ooooo, that's hard -- evergreen with white lights. I take them out of the plastic tub and lay in the boxes. I also have 10 little 2' white lighted trees lining my front sidewalk between my corner gardens w/white picket fences. My butt is seriously cold from sitting on the sidewalk fluffing out the branches.

I would probably have done more but I can't get anything else down by myself. We have the stuff up overhead in the garage. He has stuff out -- table, saw, etc. that he is using for the soffit. So, I would have to move all that to move the Duster. I may kill him. I just noticed he put some other stuff up there. I had it perfectly arranged -- inside decorations on one side, outside on the other, with just enough room for me to get up there between them and hand crap down.

Morning!! So has anyone noticed, with this new update, if the $/2 have gone back to the old way?
I used the Nabisco $1/2 but not a good test. The Ritz have a short barcode and screen came up "no items purchased".

Bought 12 Hall's Cough Drops and used MQ's 6- BOGO and 6 - $0.50 off. Also used 12 - TQ's $0.50 off. 6 of the TQ's came off fine and the other 6 beeped.

Prevacid $6 MQ is a beeper.

That is all.

I was shooting for the 3 days before Thanksgiving but with the temps dropping and then this off and on forecast of sleet, I'm getting started. What's your weather looking like?

I want more stuff down so I can put it up. Hmmm...
