I am not eligible for an upgrade on the phone so looking for a good deal on an HTC Incredible or something similar. If anyone sees anything I would appreciate a heads up. I had an HTC PPC-6800 and loved that thing. I don't think I can use that anymore because it was an Alltel phone. At least that is what Verizon told me when they converted Alltel over.

I really don't care much for my OB but the look of shock on her face when she saw the hb was enough pleasure for me to erase all the insensitive comments she's made. Once everything seems to be okay I will probably switch OB's. She is very distant and a huge pessimist. (?)

Speaking of cakes...that has been one of my cravings. Snickers cake! German chocolate cake with holes poked all through it and caramel poured into all the holes with whipped cream for frosting and chopped up frozen snickers bar on top. I've made that cake 3 times this past month, as well as a strawberry cake and red velvet and cookies...and the list goes on and on. I was shocked as all get out to see that I lost 1 lb from my last OB appt. Toss Thanksgiving in there and I was :fa int:

Had a fabulous run at target tonight.. It was horrible weather, but made myself go out

Went to Kohls first. Got me some PJ's and my DD some too from the clearance section. Mine were .20 after coupon and hers were 1.50. I am getting tons of stuff for her for Christmas thanks to Kohls. Just wish I could get things the boys would like.

Sad to see my 11/30 coupons go.. Did use up most of them. Grabbed the oral b rechargeables that were 11.60. got the only 3 they had.. also been picking up some of the oral b spin brushes for my youngest DD and my nephew. They have disney princess and some robot kind.. they are super cute for 5.99. Looks like everyone on my list will be getting some kind of toothbrush this year. I got 4 rainchecks for the sonicare brushes cause they were OOS.. Worked good for me cause it gives me time to score some coupons : ) other than that I got some groceries, duracell, crest, and the usual. Those darn TGI meals were 7.19 here.. I didn't get any, but did grab a few of the TGI snacks like cheese sticks, and potato skins.. They were 2.49 or 2.59 each. Makes me remember the wonderful TGIF 3.00 pdf from last year!

My DH added another night to our cabin rental for our trip this week, so we are gonna leave a day early.. I am super excited for us to have alone time.. But nervous too. I have never been away from my DD one night in her life. Even when I had my appendix removed, my DH brought her to the hospital. I am gonna miss her so much!

So I was on my way to the recycling center, with plans of doing mucho shopping this morning, when the guy on the radio said there was a TORNADO WATCH for the entire metro area. Um, why was that not on weather.com when I checked this morning??? So I aborted and came home. And let me tell you, it was torture. I did drop off my recycling items and started picking through the newspapers. There has to be over 50 inserts there from this past Sunday, but I could only grab about 5 before the wind just got to be too much. grrrrrr...they had better be there when I go back!!! But ... I have no desire to witness a tornado with my two girls in the van, so better to be at home, safe and sound, than out shopping. Even if a store is doing super doubles. And I could earn gift cards at T. And another store is having cheap chicken...

Took some time off and have been spending it with my family. My son got his 6 month shots and is very cranky.
Haven't been to Target in over a week.

I am feeling better today - throat is no nearly as sore as it has been. My head still hurts like I don't know what, but if I keep up with the ibuprophen it seems to do better. I'm uber sensitive to noise/light still - but that's manageable.

I'm actually tempted to go shopping today. Kind of need to - out of eggs, milk, blah blah blah...

Anyway, I think today will be good because I refuse to let it be bad. I'm tired of bad attitudes - especially mine.

My SIL makes that cake all the time, what is the name of it? She said when she got the recipie from a friend the friend said it was called the Better Than Sex Cake, lol! Yep, that was the original name, but since Mini Thrift is 15 and loves to help make this cake we renamed it the Snickers cake.
