See, your husband was being thoughtful after all. He intended it as an exercise video.

so the wash cycles are generally longer. regular hot washes for sheets and towels are 90minutes now. permanent press is around 50 minutes. definitely longer than the old machine.
Holy crap. I don't want one anyway but that cinches it. An hour to an hour and half just to wash one load?

Vinegar. Love that stuff.
Oh yeah, I take it too. Nothing else works for me either. I don't believe there is any end in sight for it to go generic either. Near as I can determine -- 2014 will be the soonest, if then. You might try contacting Aztra Zenica. Something sticks in my mind that they might be one that has some drug help program or maybe coupons.

There, therehug You didn't kill it.

Man oh man, everything is wet and sloppy here. We are having a weird thaw. Mind you, I'm not complaining. Christmas crap is still in the little garage (one car attached where I park my van). I have two fans and an electric heater out there going now to get the last of the snow off and dried up. Then I get to start dragging the stuff to the big garage (not attached & at the end of the yard), finding the appropriate box or tub and stuffing it in them. We have a pick up out there that we rarely drive. Stuff is going into the back of it for now, then one day hubby and I will put it back up overhead in the garage. Still have to try to get the two big things out of the yard. I will be soaked to the skin. Brrrr.

I really should take this tree down. Ehh, hubby will be home tomorrow. We can do it them... then he will bring the pruners in and chop it up in pieces to haul it out.
And then Blowup

Holy crap. I ordered a photo mug from Snapfish last night. Don't remember exact time -- but after 4 for sure. I have an email that it has been shipped.

Finally getting some snow here. Couple of inches on the ground, but no one knows how to drive! They are closing the office early, but it has already stopped snowing. Yesterday it was in the 50's, so the ground is warm, making a layer of ice.

No snow here. Supposed to be about 70 today. Perfect for shoppin. Big Grin

We are looking into doing IVF in order to have my sisters eggs in my body. So expensive. Better to do a shared risk program where we get 3 cycles of tries. It includes everything but the anasthesiologist and anasthesia for her retrieval, and 2 sonograms to confirm pregnancy. It also doesn't include the medication which can run another 3-5k. The 3 cycle shared plan is 19,000 dollars.

I guess I'm going to have to put my work into overdrive. Anyone here ever done IVF?

No IVF here, but one of the Dr's on this floor specializes in infertility. Hmmm, wonder what's in the sample drug cabinet? Stick Out Tongue

you get used to it quickly. capacity for cottons is actually like double at 4.0sq ft so you can do half as many loads but they take longer. i think old maytag was 2.1 or 2.4. too lazy to google. i rarely do a full load but when i do dryer that was matching capacity for old washer is stuffed to the gills when it's finished. it seems to always run longer, probably b/c loads are somewhat bigger. best part is that i can wash a queen size comforter in machine b/c there is no agitator taking up space.

bff doesn't complain now about loads taking longer and she has 2 eight yr olds and 2 two yr olds so you can imagine how much laundry she does. she just complains about the dryer.not drying as well.

there are workarounds. you can set the delay timer so your load is done when you wake up and you just throw it in the dryer.

but nobody but me will tell you that permanent press you are only supposed to fill the machine halfway and delicates you fill 1/3. again it's b/c of water levels. so capacity for those loads is not as big as they make it out to be. i did extensive research b4 i sprung for my bosch and nobody ever mentioned it.

however if i were to do it again, i would buy samsung for antivibration technology. front loaders are notorious for vibrations when they are no on slab. i didn't b/c it was their first front-loader sold in the US and i was afraid it might have problems just like my maytag that was also the first front-loader they ever sold and ended up bankrupting them.

Not done it personally, however I had a friend go through it. I was with her every step of the way. Lots of shots. Lots of appointments. Lots of emotional mountains.

I promise as soon as I get my head on straight, I'll set it all up again. I really farked up last time and I STILL feel awful about it.

Last time I bought from someone on ejunkie, it came within a few hours. So definitely not if you need them quickly.

Okay.. we want to know what it was?? laugh out loud

And I agree, Meesh is sweet Smilie

Well, I would say good morning.. but, now it is afternoon! Yesterday was horrible here..

The barf bug continued off and on all day. I did make it to target, grabbed lots of clear liquid drinks my DD, and she was very happy. She had gone almost 7 hours without being sick, so we gave her some sprite, and 2 saltine crackers.. We were chilling on the couch and my phone rang at 10:30.. I totally forgot I had agreed to be on call for work last night. Uugh, got called in for an emergency case.. I felt so bad cause my toddler didn't want me to go. I finally got her interested in playing candy land with her daddy and as I was walking out the door, she started throwing up again.. everywhere... I helped for a minute, and DH told me to go..

Anyway, what should have taken an hour, dragged into 4 and a half. I didn't get home til 4:30 am and was exhausted. my DD had finally fallen asleep at 2:30 and was in my bed.. SO, needless to say, I didn't get much good sleep last night.. I am dragging today.. Just finished a very large cup of coffee Smilie

Hoping to get out and check the target clearance today, but don't know yet..

Jamie - I know people who have done IVF, but have no personal experience.. I know it is expensive, time consuming, and can be an emotional rollercoaster.. I also know it can be very rewarding when you are doing it to help someone else.. I can't remember reading.. can your sister not carry a baby?

We used to have a TCC peep who did IVF and was a surrogate.. but she hasn't posted in a long time!

How is she feeling today? We had the barf thingy going on, but it stopped after 24 hours. Hugs to you.
