Just dropping by to vent before bedtime.. The stupid bug continues.. DD is better, but tonight my DH started with the stomach junk.. I feel bad things are coming my wayCrying Is it bad that I don't even want to sleep in the bedroom with him tonight? I am torn because I am exhausted after wrestling with my daughter all last night and was hoping to crawl in the bed and sleep sound tonight.. but now, I am thinking of sleeping on the couch, even though I know I won't be comfortable.
Don't feel bad about not sleeping in the bedroom with him. It will probably serve you both if you slept in another room. Chances are he will be uncomfortable and moving around a lot and this will keep you awake. I never start off sleeping in another room, but I have ended in another room and I don't feel bad. When DH gets a cold he snores like it's nobody's business.

G'morning.

I want to go back to bed... No kids up - Mavis is snoozing in my lap!

I should get ready to go shopping!

I have not seen holiday oreos - not even during Christmas time. I think my stores are pretty lame.

l2b, when dh is sick, I make him sleep downstairs on the futon in the playroom. laugh out loud

Hope everyone is feeling better soon, I noticed a lot of household have sick little (and big!) ones.
And here I thought I was the only one Teehee

DH usually volunteers before I make the suggestion anyway....because HE has this ability to be able to sleep well anywhere and I do not. I usually try to quarantine the sickies here. We have one room downstairs that's finished that dh uses as an office so usually he goes down there and sleeps.

Ladies. i am tring to help a family member with a small business thing she is doing but I cant think of what it is called and all of them available. What do you call the buzzpond thing? - like houseparty and are there more companies that send you the stuff for free and have you just viral market for them?

Okay... so when do you risk waking your kids up by checking on them to see if they are still alive?? Sheesh - my toddler never sleeps past 7:30 and she hasn't made a peep. My oldest, she'll sleep as long as you let her, but she hasn't even gotten up to use the bathroom yet. What's up with my sleepy heads?? Baby went back to sleep too!

Wait... what's wrong with me. Everyone is sleeping, I should just enjoy, right??

Coffee.... mmm

Oh, and dh was a bit annoyed this past week. Our toddler has been asking for candy and hot chocolate constantly - even refusing to eat meals, etc... He tried to blame it on the junk food we have in the house (which we do have but don't typically consume in quantity). I was like, um... remember when we were in Ohio and you said "let grandma & grandpa spoil 'em..." blah blah blah??? What did you think would happen when they "spoiled" the kids by giving them ho-ho's, cookies, ice cream, and everything else they asked for for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?? Don'cha think there will be some fall out when we get back home and then try to give 'em broccoli, carrots, and chicken??

LOL - probably are... I am sure their systems are still adjusting/purging.

I'm all for grandparents treating the kids and doing things special, but there is such a thing as overload - especially when it comes to food!

Besides, the kids want and will appreciate (and remember) the TIME you spend with them more - not all the junk food they were given!

Well, you had me, and I had you! bouncebounce

Thank you so much for the wonderful gift! I have been drinking Kuerig coffee out of the cute mug you sent, most of the chocolate has been eaten, and my pants don't fit as loosely as they did a week ago! Stick Out Tongue
Teehee I am enjoying a cup of the coffee right now. It sure is yummy!!! I was so hoping you were right about your hubby getting you the Keurig machine, otherwise that would have been bad. Big Grin

OK, I was up until 2 last night getting my coupons together - amazing what taking time off for the holidays does to your shopping skills!! But I think I have a handle on what's out there - now to get my shower and get out the door!!

Ank, I say just enjoy the few quiet moments when everyone's asleep. My son gets up like clockwork every morning around 7-7:15. But during his Christmas break, he's been sleeping until 8. Bliss!!!
