Woman in a Government car is a lunatic. With pics!

Long story short I'm sitting at a red light that has a left turn lane ONLY that is to my left of course.

Light turns green I go straight.

I make it 100% of the way through the intersection, when all of a sudden there is a PRIUS hood at my drivers side window....GOING MY DIRECTION!!! Scared the **** out of me! The car is on the wrong side of a busy road (1pm on a Friday)...

I lay on the horn and slow down to let in this lunatic.

The person gets infront of me.......and what to do I see???

How's my driving?? on her bumper!! It has a website (which I can probably figure out) on it!! I start to smile.

The light infront of us turns red, it is red for at least a full second before we get to it......My window is down and I'm mouthing the words "I'm going to report you"

She says something back that I have no idea what it was and she ran the red light. She then got onto the highway.

Well guess what, 95 always has traffic after 11am on Friday's. I had NO PROBLEM catching up to her.

Here's the pic I got (we were actually moving and I was holding up the center lane by snapping this, I didn't want to be too much of a dick and slow others down so I kept going).

Here's a diagram that is an accurate depiction of where things happened. She got in my lane JUST as we got to the train bridge.

I just finished a complaint with pictures included and wrote that I want her removed from driving a state owned car. My tax dollars paid for her to cut me off, endanger MY LIFE and the life of the other people in the oncoming direction.

I didn't keep PACE. She floored it to cut me off and she did! Why is this so hard for you to understand. If I wanted to keep pace with her my car would have had no problem making that happen.
Did you just get your license or something? People get cut off on the road every day. You slow down a bit and get your gap back and all is well again. You don't start snapping photos of everyone that cuts you off. Crazy

Yes, some people think they're in one lane and then realize they're not. She probably thought she was in a lane that goes straight, realized her mistake half-way through the intersection and assessed the situation. With traffic behind you, she couldn't just get over and an open road in front means she could easily get in front of you.

But no.

You had to take it personal. You pulled up next to her at the next light, mouthed "I'm going to kill you" and forcing her to fear for her life and run the red light. And then you compounded it by taking a picture.

Congrats chief! You managed to turn one simple mistake that was safely solved into a huge case and give one person the idea they're going to be murdered.

When do we get to put you in jail for road rage?

And being that you were just through the intersection, you were probably only going 20 MPH. You haven't a clue about driving risks if you think someone could get killed in this situation (excepting idiots without seatbelts, of course).

No one is denying she made a stupid mistake.

The only remaning issue seems to come from your evolving story, unresolved anger issues and overreaction to a stupid mistake.
Iagree

Being in the wrong lane is a stupid mistake.

Thinking that you're going to get killed from a 20 MPH crash, stalking that person and then ranting and raving about how you should no longer have to pay for her salary and car is straight up insanity.

Conveniently, it looks like the OP chose an orientation that maximizes the perceived distance that the Prius traveled (and thus, gives legitimacy to the notion that she "floored it"), when in reality, there's only about one intersection's distance between the end of the intersection that she "floored it" from and the bridge.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&s...4&t=h&z=20

There is no way a Prius got up to enough speed to kill anyone in this scenario.

Google Street View is even more revealing. The road does not say: "[leftarrow] ONLY", just "[leftarrow]". And the light appears to be a standard circular stop light, contrary to the OP's description.

You didn't slow down until she passed you, hence the keeping pace.

That's not a mistake and it's not stupid - it's breaking the law. .
So is taking pictures with your cell phone while driving.

It is a stupid mistake because no one got hurt and no damage was done to anyone.

If she killed a family member of yours today, would you still be calling it a stupid mistake?
Ahh the what if game, let me put it another way..

Your snapping pictures while driving = stupid mistake.
Your snapping pictures while driving causing an accident killing someone = criminal.

See the difference, you broke the law, you did something stupid. No harm resulted from your actions, hence it remains soley a stupid mistake. If you caused an accident that got someone killed while snapping pictures then I would expect you will be heading to jail with a headline like "Man with Roadrage kills two while trying to snap pictures of a lady that forced him to let her cut him off".

Unless you've recently developed breath-taking eyes and all sorts of intestinal issues, you're probably not FD.

If half of you would read the thread before you respond you'd see why your assumptions are off. I'll be driving that exact same route in a bit. At a dinner party right now. Not going to bother with 800 troll anymore.
