Luckily he only works on Friday every other week.
We got like 3 inches of snow yesterday, Shannon. THREE. Supposed to be 43 today so I hope every last bit of it is gone.
I know!! And we got maybe an inch, inch and a half. I thought of you while I was watching the weather and knew you were thinking "Crap...look at all this farking snow!" and I was going "Where the Hell is the snow?" lol

On the plus side...he actually left my car yesterday. woot I told him it wasn't fair for me to feel stranded because HE bought a car he didn't want to drive in bad weather. Of course, now he just texted me and asked me to bring him some medicine to work. laugh out loud Our roads are clear, I wouldn't have had an excuse anyway. I heard county roads aren't, so that's why there's no school. I think there will be tomorrow. Of course, it's an early release day. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Guess I'll go shower so I can run this to him.

Good! Cause yeah...his car is awesome and all but it was his choice to get it knowing you guys live in a place that does get snow. Being stranded at home is bad but being stranded with three kids is even worse, lol.

I hate freaking early release days. They have them all the time. We never had those when I was in school, lol. Maybe 2-3 times the whole year...maaaaaaybe.

We only have 2 early days a year. Both for parent teacher conferences.

Hope your back feels better, Jenni! hug

Nervous today, my DS is asking his first girl out today to the Valentine's Day Dance. He did say that if the first one says no then he has another one he will ask out.

Took me almost 5 hours to get home. Goddamn idiot foreign drivers trying to drive up a hill with their stupid front wheel drive tiny stupid foreign cars Ranting jeezus if those morons weren't on the road I'd have been home in maybe 45 minutes!

My dad still isn't home & Mom is just gonna stay at work... one guy I work with turned around & went back to the office, he's there now... buddies at another office where I used to work did the same thing... this is ridiculous, there can't be more than 6-8 inches that came down, wtf is wrong with people!
Don't bitch. Took me over 7 hours, plus I had to dig out my space.

Some dude asked me (I went for a walk because we weren't moving, so I walked probably... 1000 feet to the intersection (left my car running with the keys inside, what's going to happen? lol), took a look around, saw a sea of red and walked back) "do you know what's the delay", I almost told him "idiot drivers like you", but I couldn't get away from him, so I just said "the snow and a sea of red [brake lights]". He said it's 48 miles to house, so he's farked. I was considering walking the 6 miles I had left... but didn't

Another woman asked me "do you know what's wrong [she was stuck] or how I can get out?" (to move literally 2-3 feet to the next car), I told her not to hit the gas as hard and rock back and forward (this was also while I was walking around), she tried got out, and then said thanks, lol

People were walking with gas canisters around, because they ran out of gas on the road. I'm thankful I had charged my cell phone and had a full tank of gas.

Someone gave birth on the bridge (not by me, I heard it on the news), an ambulance wasn't able to get to them. So the woman went into labor and gave birth all on a bridge. She was later rushed to the hospital, no updates.

Today the streets are cleaned, all the cars that were abandoned on the highway are towed. O yeah, not in the right lane or the shoulder lane, or even the left lane. People left their cars in the middle farking lane and walked home.

I had an obstacle course to manivour while driving (the portions that I was driving)...

I put my water bottle to good use. Wink

Thanks!! Our school system has several ER days. Teachers have to stay for meetings, etc. Seems they're always in meetings. I can't tell you how many meetings my poor mom has to go to over stupid stuff.

laugh out loud It was a plastic non-reusable bottle. I threw it out once I got home.

I was listening to the radio and people were driving for 10+ hours to get home. Women were complaining that they're thinking of taking a towel from the trunk to take a leak, since well... you can't really go anywhere if you're not moving, lol

Max, this is when you rent an RV with a bathroom, get it stuck on the highway with the weather, and sell bathroom visits for $25 each.
