Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

They seem to have a lot more information to give out than the 1-800-Marlboro folks. Why does a netbook need a memory card? I have an older netbook and have never had a need for a memory card. Just curious as to the purpose or what it would be used for.

Others on this forum have said it was to help in the transfer of files from another computer since this one doesn't come with a CD Rom. The Marlboro reps said it was a "bonus" and not originally part of the offer, which also helps out in their deniability of it actually not being compatible with the netbook itself.

OK, I see. Seems like a USB flash drive would serve that purpose better anyway, so I'm all set.
