So this past christmas my 6 year old was hurt at macy's when a display shelf came crashing down.
Today is the 1st time they contacted me.
The wanted to know about a car accident we had 3 months ago.
How the hell do they know my 6 year old was in a car accident unless they ran a background check.
Any ideas?
And no trolls, I'm not looking for legal advice, I'm looking for the database that Macy's used to check on my child.
Thanks!

If OP was in a car accident, then the accident would be a part of public record, through a ticket/citation, or MVR. All it would take is someone to go down to the local police station and ask for the report filed for the accident to find out the kid was involved in it. Believe it or not, police reports are public record.
I don't mind that. That farktard just said I'm yobutt
