i got a cat (pictures included)

I got my cat yesterday….


his name is cat, his hobbies include walking on the keyboard when i am trying to type, and sanding perfectly still while i take a picture (untill the moment i press the shutter button then he moves)

and yes i know my bed is not made and my place is messy

his new thing is to stand on me an mew until i lift the covers and let him under… he will only go under the covers if he can lay next to me… if he isnt touching me while under the covers then he freaks out…. he hates it when i get up and put the covers back over him...

Over the last 4 days my cat started acting weird, day before yesterday he went to the vet, got called last night and apparently they think he has a rare fatal genetic disease.

I am very sad but its ok because if he dies now he died happy. I saved him from a shelter and gave him the opportunity to have a much better life.

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know if the disease is contagious or not. You might want to give the shelter a heads up just in case.

I'm really sorry! It's never easy to lose a pet, but you did a really selfless thing for him. At least he was able to experience a good, albeit short, life. hug
