So I found a swing on CL yesterday evening. $25 for a used 1 time swing. I am soo excited bc I really wanted a certain type of swing (I could care less about the looks, but it HAD to be one that plugged in) and I found it! I was expecting to pay around $50 in CL for it, but this was a rich couple that just wanted it out of their house! So damn happy! J went to pick it up on the way home from work tonight! YAY! Anyways, here is the swing [amazon.com] we got.

I work in Photo at Target and we have an ongoing deal (supposedly doesn't expire until 12/31/12, the deal started as of 1/1/11) with Shutterfly. Orders of 10 or more 4x6 prints receive 10 free 4x6 prints per order (essentially it is free if you order exactly 10 prints). If it interests you, you might want to check with your local Target Photo to ensure that they also have this deal. It doesn't seem to have a limit as it is not a coupon deal, it is a barcode we have readily available at the register. I hope this is found useful!

If you have any further questions feel free to IM me in regards to this offer.

NOTE: I did run a search of the thread before posting but if this has been posted, I apologize in advance.
Thanks for letting us know about this. I will have to check it out next time I am there.

I just got my Kohls statement and it was for $0. I really need to get motivated to get back into the game but I just have so little energy. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and they may do an ultrasound to take a look at my fibroid. I am only 12 weeks but she said it may be possible to see the sex if it is a boy. I am not sure but my DH is going with me just in case. I have another ultrasound next week for the new downs screening so maybe then they can see something if not I will have to wait till the 20 week ultrasound.
What is the new downs test?

I'm sorry your realtor sucks!! You would think customer service would be their main concern. If we don't get paid, they don't get paid!!

I had dh call her again tonight to see what the problem was. She said the files I sent were all to big and she didn't know how to resize them. I resized them all and sent them again. Hopefully she will put them up tomorrow. Dh asked what people have been saying about the house. She said they all like it, but one said it was to old. That just cracked us up. It was built in the 70's the house we just moved into is 106 years old laugh out loud
LMAO

It's a more advanced test, replacing the triple screen test that high-risk mothers take to see the probability of Downs and open neural tube defects. It is blood work for the mom, and an ultrasound for the baby, so completely safe for baby. They measure the fluid behind baby's neck (that's why they need such a high-resolution machine, a regular u/s machine doesn't work for it) so I had to go to the high-risk dr's office for it. They also look at baby's heart, but not sure what they are looking for there. I just know that if the fluid level behind the neck is less than 1.8 or 2.8 or something like that, then baby is most likely fine. Baby Bean had .8, so we think we're ok, but will know for sure after the second round of blood work next month. Dawn- I didn't know you were high risk- did you have a problem with your previous pregnancy?

Thanks for answering. I was going to have to go get the paperwork to describe it. It is covered by my insurance because I am 39 (over 35). I think that I may be considered high risk because of my thyroid problems, age and a fibroid but nobody has used that term with me out loud yet.

Yes, we are definitely going to do it if not just because I love an ultrasound! My BFF has a daughter with down's and did not know until she was born. It was very hard diagnosis for her and it would have been better to be prepared.

If the files were too big for her, SHE should have called you immediately and not waited for you to call. Stay on her! She works for you!

Ariel- total score on the swing! wootwoot And it goes sideways! Daniel hated the swing, and would never stay in it, so we never used it. It was one that only went back and forth, not side to side. Jason used it a little, but he wasn't a huge fan. Then we went to a Superbowl party with J as a newborn, and our friends had a papasan cradle swing that went from side to side. He loved it, and they said we could borrow it, since their baby had just outgrown it. We used that swing a ton for naps when he was an infant, and it plugged in. I just realized that we need to buy one (friends moved and we gave swing back to them before they moved) for new baby. Dh also threw away our Exersaucer (did it when I wasn't looking) because it was trashed, and he knows I would have taken all day to scrub and try to find replacement parts for it instead of buying a new one. So I need to get new baby a swing an Exersaucer.

ONE MORE DAY!!!! I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!! Tomorrow at 4pm!!! bouncebounce

I just turned 35 last month, which bumped me into the AMA category- advanced maternal age. I was already considered high risk from Lexi, but this also throws me into that category. I don't care what they call me- they can call me old decrepit knocked up hag if it gets insurance to cover extra ultrasounds, tests and dr appts! nod

Have any of you heard of the book "Wolfie's Dream"? Aspen came into our lives in 2001, GrD was born in 2002. In 2004, on her 2nd bday, we gave her the stuffed Wolfie (of course, it's a schnauzer). She has loved it ever since. Since we lost our boy, she's been carrying that thing around non-stop. I've been on the author's website. She has a new Xmas book out about Wolfie also. So thinking this might be the perfect Valentine for little miss. Supposedly, the author will sign the Christmas book. I sent her an email--I'm hoping she will do both books for me. I first checked with all the local bookstores, Amazon and Ebay and NONE of them have copies of the book. I'm hoping this comes through. I think GrD would love it! She loves heart books and she loves
heart schnauzers.
Quoting myself...sad isn't it? Big Grin The author of The Schnauzer Chronicles wrote back to me very quickly. Said she would sign both books for GrD in memory of Aspen. I think they will be very special to her over time. The author also said she was working on the 3rd book called "Wolfie and the Black Stone." Subject was along the lines of losing something you love and the healing process. You think that sounds like one that we are going to HAVE to have also? I do. She sent me the sweetest note about Aspen (I had explained to her about him).
