Both of you need to stop feeling badly and defending yourselves.I BF'd my first for six weeks and at her six week check up, she had lost a dangerous amount of weight. I was ordred to switch to Enfamil immediately. I produced very weak milk. The next two, I didn't even try. As you all have seen, they grew into healthy happy adults and you can't tell they were bottle babies. I was so down on myself that I cried a river until I accepted it for what it was. No, I was not earth-mother but they grew to be healthy, happy responsible adults and I believe they truly love me. Diapers and breatfeeding is the LEAST important thing you will do for your children. Tell them you love them every day. Tell them they are beautiful everyday. Make everyday an adventure and make them your priority after your husband. This is what is most important.hearthughearthug
Thanks Snowy - I really needed this advice. I've shed lots of tears over my "failures" as a mom. Actually, I've got an order coming next week (hopefully) from Canada for a drug that is not FDA approved in the US but it works wonders for breastfeeding. Turns out thyroid disease and Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome wreaks havoc with BF'ing and I have both Frown With DS I had to quit b/c of his jaundice and I couldn't relactate due to the cancer treatments but with this baby I am determined laugh out loud It's good to remember, though, that she will love me regardless and it's not the end all be all for her life and future. hug

I was thinking the same thing LOL

We took a pic of us belly to belly. I am bigger than her even though I am 2 months behind her Frown Here [facebook.com] is the pic. Oh well
Then last night I made a hat for Lily. The night before I made one too, but I did something wrong and it ended up fitting Soph
You do not look bigger than that girl - she looks much bigger than you overall and I'm sure it's b/c she has a larger pelvis that is why she isn't showing as much.

I think that hat pattern is the same one the babe has except the yarn used in it is much finer - I don't know how to describe it but it's not as fluffy as the blanket yarn and it's not fuzzy either. Wish I had a good example of one to send you. It's super cute though and I'm so proud of you that you made something so cute!

I'm crazy to start with Big Grin

Glad you found a cute baby set - I'm getting so excited for all y'alls babies heart

Right now you can get a $10 Starbucks gift card for just $5 on Friends and Family Circle! I'm guessing this offer won't last long, and the site is already very slow, so just keep trying. You should receive your gift card in 5-7 business days, and it's good at Starbucks locations nationwide.
rats, must have missed it! thanks

Well, got the news back from the biopsy from Terra, no cancer woot and no infection, so they think she is allerigic to someting Dontknow I've spend over 200 on tests and still dont know what the problem is...we live outside Chicago, there is snow on the ground....so we dont think its allergies....so the vet thinks its her food EEK! I feed her Royal Canine, the first ingredient is Chicken....so we are going to try feeding her one that is either duck or deer....which I'm not thrilled about as they are even more expensive that what I already feed her....and ducks and deer are our friends....what a little princess she is!! grrrrrr
Yes, but you'll do most anything for that little princess, won't you? My best advice is just love her to pieces! So glad no cancer for her.

I agree that it is not an easy task to get it down. Not on mine.
almost time. Start stalking it.

Go now for the free hair color!!!
Crappola, I forgot about it. Will do it tomorrow!

Several dogs that I know of including my son's huskie Skye, recently developed allergies, Skye's eyes and face broke out, crusted and bled. Snowpuppy reminded us of a friends little dog that had a skin allergy and what cleared it up. In winter here, they use a lot of chemicals in our water including clorine to keep it from freezing. Some dogs are allergic to the clorine. Switched to bottled water and Within 3 days, Skye was almost symptom free Jeff and I took her to the vet anyway on a Monday and he said if it works, keep it up.I am a firm believer in introducing puppies to new water supply slowly for digestion reasons and always sent a gallon or two of water from my house when I sent a puppy home. A gallon of bottled water is cheap so maybe give it a try first. As far as her being a little princess, this is the price we pay for pure bred dogs. Rarely do you hear of mixed breeds with these problems, they eat garbage and thrive. By the way, this happened to Skye over Newyears weekend so it seems a lot of dogs are suffering allergies this month
In red, for that reason, IF we ever get another "baby", I'm seriously thinking the muttiest one I can find. Our little boy just about put us in the poorhouse taking care of all his special needs. I don't think my DH realizes just how much I was spending on our little purebreed! And, we'll just keep that info to ourselves! But, you know, I'd do it all over again just to hold him one more time! Oh crap, now I made myself cry.

hug So sorry--I hope you get to feeling better soon. Is DH feeling any better?
I woke up in the middle of the night and could hardly swallow it hurt so bad. Went on to church this morning and could have sang bass if I chose to sing but it hurt to sing so I didn't. Now I think I'll just go curl up on the couch under my blankie and rest....I blame it on the people at WM this week.
Sorry you're feeling yucky also. Blankies work wonders sometimes
Dh is still feeling poorly but not as bad as me. His is in the lower gastro and mine is upper.
I think we kinda figured out it might have been something we ate when we went out for my birthday dinner. It's strange otherwise that both of us would be sick at the same time.

Happy to hear it doesn't seem too bad. Allergies suck for a furbabe. My girl has had them all her life and it's tough to pinpoint. She went through many tests just like people only to find out she is allergic to many things.

Great news on the water. Hope it continues to work for you.
BTW...Our son (purebred) I did not pick him. He picked me
Our daughter (purebred) I did not pick her...Dh went to the pet store to buy fish for our pond. Called me to say...Please bring furboy to the store to see if they like each other. The furgirl kept kissing dh and he would not leave without her Big Grin

Surprise! Just for you: FREE 8x8 Photo Book ($29.99 Value). It then lists a promo code and instructions to go to shutterfly to redeem.

I haven't checked into it further yet so I don't know if it is something that I print in store or is shipping kills the deal. Hopefully, it is as good as it seems!
