I was just reading the email that came with the tracking number for the coffee mate party and towards the bottom I saw it said this

"Take plenty of photos showing co-workers enjoying the COFFEE-MATE. You'll be asked to submit a party recap after your event and will receive a $5 Amazon gift card as a token of our appreciation!"

Pretty cool huh?

Thanks for the reminder! When I got home this afternoon, I came on here and yours was the first post I saw so I went and checked and I got in! I am happy about it, but I hope it doesn't keep me from getting the Philadelphia cream cheese one. I'm dying to try that so I really really want that one! I don't want to sound ungrateful though.
Congrats! woot

The program is called Calibre. It is free to download and then you can get digital books from online sources (PM me if you need some help there) and convert them into the format that the kindle uses!

Would any of the Valentine players get upset if you got your box early??? Like way early? Like next week? I have challenged DH to have a NO SPEND FEBRUARY...it is the shortest month of the year and we can only spend $50 on groceries...hopefully we will use up most of our stockpile. Gas...no trips over 50 miles. Regular bills. No eating out. No internet buying (please no good deals happen in Feb!) and I am feeling a little guilty about spending money on postage in Feb...unless I can buy it now and not send it until late Feb??? Any ideas?
Just curious...WhyConfused

Eat a BRAT!! Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast They also do make some good drugs that stop that I wish you lived closer becaue I have lots of them to share, have lots of goodies in my medicine cabinet...gotta clean that out before the kids get older Feel better soon!! Oh, and you will be the second SD'er that I meet on my trip....going swing by Coachie's for lunch and a play date!!
BRAT is getting very tiring Mad
It's funny how I have so many "drugs" in the house from freebies but not this stuff. I always have the opposite problem. Went out and got some

Fun about you meeting Coachie. I was wondering if your route would take you near her.

Please tell me that it's the kids doing the playdate and not you and Coachie...EEK!

Bad storms tonight especially in town. Check with your family member to see how they made out.

My blankie did help some...a schnauzer kiss would've probably made it all better quicker thought. Today, I feel better but still sound awful. Now it's the coughing that's yucky!
And, you're right, it's TOTALLY worth it. Love the story of how you got your babies!
.
It's a true story.
The funny thing about my furboy was I have never had a dog EVER. Never wanted a smelly dirty licking thing hanging around Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Dh had to go to AL for 2 weeks years ago to pack up his dad's house. My gf and I went to the movies.

Next to the movies was a pet store called Preppy Puppy. All the pups were in cribs. We went in after the movies and walked around and petted the babes. My boy was there. Very cute and I was petting him along with the others.

As we were leaving, a pup let out a loud squeal. I looked backed and it was my boy barking and looking right at me...

AND that was the end of that...

Did some research, called dh, and went to get him as soon as he got home...bounce
It's been a 15+ love affair ever since...Embarrassment

Miss you lots and lots...hug

Dh and I are spending a few days in Vegas in April. Maybe a good time for a vacation for you and dh nod

I think I will do the winnings like last year unless you object.
First place gets to pick from the goodies what they want...and so on

I have seen that program before but never downloaded it.
The problem I seem to have is that all the "free" books I found are oldie, classics books which I don't read. I love a list of places you get books from hug

For our first baby we bought an extremely expensive $600 cherry crib (we were both working, and spent money on stupid things, we were so excited for our baby!) I did a ton of research on everything, and for some reason thought a drop-side crib sounded easiest to use from all of the reviews I read. What I didn't take into account was that dh and I are both super tall, so we could both easily reach into the crib and get baby out. Through both of our boys, we have never dropped the crib, ever. The one time we had someone over who tried to drop the side to get Danny out, it took us like 10 minutes to push it in and try to drop it, it was so difficult to do. I don't know if maybe other cribs dropped alot easier and babies became caught, but there is no way a baby would ever have enough strength to drop our crib. It took 3 people to do it, and even then it was tough!

So now due to a new law that makes it illegal to sell or re-sell drop-side cribs, I can't ever sell my crib on Craigslist or at a consignment sale. So we now have a $600 crib that is worthless. But if babies have died from these cribs, I'll take the hit.
We have a drop side and never use it. Thought I would need it, but obviously it turned out to be one of those many things you think you need when you're expecting baby #1. Good thing our crib was a free hand-me-down. You may not be able to sell these cribs, but there are a lot of people who would very much appreciate the gift of a free one.

Toff- I went through all of my boy clothes this weekend, and filled a giant box for you! When I weighed it, it was nearly 50 lbs! :om g:: omg: So I went to USPS and Fedex to see how much it would cost, and the amount was crazy expensive! So then I went through and picked and chose only the really nice/expensive things, and got it down to 20 lbs, but I was so disappointed- I wanted to send more! since you and I live so far from each other, the shipping costs are crazy. The cheapest I could find was about $1.10 a lb. I have so much cute stuff, but couldn't afford the shipping. So what I did was skip the cute onesies that you could buy for 50 cents at a garage sale, but put in the jammies and overalls that were $20 new. I also put in everything I had that was 12 months, and no newborn stuff. I'm not sure what you have, what you want, etc. I wish I could send it all!

What I was thinking was for you to let me know how much the box you are sending me weighs, and if it's more than 20lbs, I'll add more clothes in your box to make it even. I also went through all of my girls clothing, and it looks like I've got nothing over 6 months.
Sheesh! I wish we lived closer together. Shipping fun stuff to friends is so $$$. 20 lbs sounds good. I still have 3 tubs to go through and already have a pile, so I'll have to do some sorting too. I will try to prioritize the new and cute, name brand stuff first. I'll keep you posted. Which place ended up being the cheapest for shipping it?

well, good morning!! We are moving into our condo this weekend... EEK! none of you told me how expensive it is to grow up! DAMN.

She was just asking me if I wanted something that came in the durex kit lol I guess he didn't see Laurens durex kit because the conversation got even odder as we drove. He knew durex referred to condoms but didn't realize they sell other products as well. He was wondering how she was going seperate the gel and the condom and why on earth would we want to do that. He knows I like to save money and thought this was going to far. I guess it was the way it was worded. hahaha Do I want the arousel gel from the durex. Definatly one of the most awkward drives and conversation I've ever had with my son. Just to try and set an example about texting and driving!
Haha! This made me giggle. Just what I needed today.
