Dh is feeling much better but my bug went from the upper down into the lower...
Needless to say I will not be seeing mom today. Whatever I have i certainly don't want her to catch. My friend is keeping a good eye and my sis is going to stop to see her today.
I am going to attempt the grocery store. Need some supplies especially bananas and bread.
We are suppose to have a major storm starting late afternoon with many possible tornados so not sure if I can get back on later.
Hope everyone has a great day...
2. House parties you wish you had: Any toy or kid one
3. Stores you coupon at: Bath & Body Works, Target (so I am totally stocked on lotions, body sprays, etc from BBW, and toothbrushes, Glade, Chefboyardee, Play-doh, Merona bags and pb& j from Target!)
4. Stores you wish you got deals at: Walgreens, pretty much any drugstores, Victoria's Secret (for the awesome lotions!)
5. Family members sizes (clothing and shoes, and include DH's): Daniel is 5 and size 5T and 10 1/2 shoes. Jason is 20 months and size 2T, 7 in shoes. And Madeleine will be here in late June/early July!
6. Your sizes (be as specific as you'd like): top size XL, shoe size 10 (yes, I am a 5'10" Amazon bigfoot!)
7. Home decor colors and wishes: Picture frames to hold portraits of my gorgeous boys!
8. Hobbies and fun: Photography, being pregnant.
9. Favorite characters or collectibles: Butterflies for my girls =)
10. Favorite sports teams: Yankees for my men
11. Favorite TV shows: Reality
12. Movies you'd like to own: The boys would love any used children's dvds
13. Music you listen to or would like mix CD's of: We buy from Itunes and listen on the computer
14. Hair products you like: I have very thin and color-treated hair. I would love any styling/conditioning products.
15. Hair accessories you use: I am in desperate need of hair conditioner and combs and brushes.
16. Types of jewelery you like: Bracelets and ankle bracelets
17. Favorite foods or treats: Anything! I love chocolate and coconut, my boys love gum.
18. Scents you like or don't like: I like fruity, cake/pie scents, cinnamon, lilac. Don't like anything that smells like pine or Glade.
19. Books you'd like to read: I'll try anything!
20. Furbabes (make, model, likes, dislikes): Oscar Mayer is a 12 year old 20 lb dachshund (weenie dog) that thinks he's a cat.
21. Kid's favorite toys, characters, food, etc.: The boys love trucks, planes, trains, fire trucks- they are easy to make happy! Danny loves stickers and sticker books. We haven't bought one girlie thing for Maddie yet!
22. Coupons you wish for: Coffee-Mate, Victoria's Secret free panty q's, diaper and wipes q's
23. School supplies you'd like: The only thing I can think of is washable markers. Butters likes to write on walls.
24. Make-up and nail polish details: I hardly ever wear make-up, but need to wear it more often! Light to medium skin tone. LOVE wearing nail polish! Any kind, and color.
25. Tell us a little bit more about you. What do you dream would arrive in a mystery box at your door?
I don't get in on any of the drugstore freebies, so would love drugstore kind of stuff like make-up, hair conditioner and styling products, combs/brushes, chapstick, dental floss, nail polish, bug spray, bug bite sticks, Venus type and Mach 3 type razors for men and women, and always need Ibuprofin (Motrin) for baby, child and adult! We go through tons of ibuprofin and Tylenol at our house, and other first aid stuff like hydrocortisone cream and Neosporin. If you got in on the Triaminic thin strips deal from Walgreens, I would love those- we used the allergy and the cold and cough ones on the boys, and they were so much easier to use than liquid meds. And batteries- we go through so many batteries! I also am in love with the Stamps.com make your own stamps from the Walgreens clearance stamp boxes.
26. Anything your secret giver should know?: That I love them! And that I would be totally happy with anything that was sent to me. I think the most fun part of this is in the gathering and sending, and then to actually get a goody box myself is icing on the cake! I have been so happy and thankful for every box that's been sent to me in these exchanges! And my guys love getting their box even more than I do!
I am so excited to meet you!

Dh is still feeling poorly but not as bad as me. His is in the lower gastro and mine is upper.
I think we kinda figured out it might have been something we ate when we went out for my birthday dinner. It's strange otherwise that both of us would be sick at the same time.
BTW...Our son (purebred) I did not pick him. He picked me
Our daughter (purebred) I did not pick her...Dh went to the pet store to buy fish for our pond. Called me to say...Please bring furboy to the store to see if they like each other. The furgirl kept kissing dh and he would not leave without her
Totally worth it in my book..
And, you're right, it's TOTALLY worth it. Love the story of how you got your babies!
Thank you all
where is everyone???
well, good morning!! We are moving into our condo this weekend... none of you told me how expensive it is to grow up! DAMN.
Tried the Clairol thingy on FB and kept clicking until it came up and already gone...WOW!
That was fast.
Question: When will I be notified if I've been selected as a host?
Answer: Funny you should ask! We'll be notifying selected hosts sooner than we thought. In fact, host selection for the Freschetta® Pizza's Fresch from the Silver Screen Event will be taking place on Tuesday, January 25th. So check your email often and be alert — you won't want to miss the chance to confirm your host status and lock in your party if selected!
Thanks again for applying to host — you'll be hearing from us soon!
I was craving fresh bell peppers cut up and dipped in ranch dressing, so I am eating that now!
I am working on a new hat for Lily. The pattern is all single crochets, so I think its going to take forever!
I have also been searching the internet for good crochet patterns (preferably free ones
Life is super crazy here still and probably will be until the end of March. We have to have some sort of permanent pharmacy plan in place by 3/31. 3/31 happens to be my 10th anniversary and DH and I were planning a trip but there is no way I can be gone from work for more than a day or so right now. So we are putting that off for awhile. Maybe by summer we'll be able to get away. I have to take DD to her Rheumatology check on Thursday and that will be my first day off since my boss passed away so I'm hoping things go pretty easy for everyone while I'm gone. My online classes started last week so I've been busy at night on homework. Trying to get caught up on the T thread for my shopping on Thursday but haven't gotten very far on that
I'm caught up on this thread but am sure I can't remember everything I wanted to say to you all, but here's what I can remember for now..............
L143 - Congrats on the condo, hope the move goes smoothly for you with that! Keep the wedding updates coming, I'm enjoying reading about your plans and stresses as well!
Toffi - The star bedding is adorable & a PERFECT price! Will keep an eye out on Thursday for anything cute that might match.
Ariel - You don't look that big in the picture, I agree with whoever said the other woman looked bigger. You look just fine for how far along you are. Loved the crochet hat for Lily! I'm jealous of your garage sales this time of year. I have to wait until May for it to be warm enough for garage sales here.
Kootz - So sorry you and Mr. Kootz have been so sick. Sucky when you have it from one end and then the other. Special orders from Dr. ZM: Take two cookies and feel better in the morning!
Dawn & Rach - I'm no mother earth either. I guess there are some crazy hormones and other things adoptive mothers could do to be able to BF an adopted infant. But, I was doing good to make it through the day without having to worry about if I was providing enough milk for a baby. I read once about all the steps an adoptive mother would have to take to BF and there was so much to do that I don't think you'd ever have time to even hold the baby because you'd be too busy taking hormones, drinking herbal potions and stimulating the breasts!!! Anyway, Snowy and others said the same things I think about the whole thing - your babies aren't going to remember if they wore cloth or disposable, if they drank out of a boob or a bottle they are going to remember that you loved them dearly. And in my opinion, if bottle feeding and using disposable diapers makes you stress out less as a mother then that is the best thing you can do for your babies. Less stress means a happier mommy!
Rach - Sorry about the colic, I hope you are able to find something to help soothe her tummy.
Already being on the no spend budget.....it isn't very fun. Using Kohls coupons keeps me sane.
There are repairs that are not being done....simple things that we can do w/o or use duct tape.
