My DH tested negative on the Cystic Fibrosis test. Nice way to start the week. I really am proud of myself that I did not freak out with my positive test. I just decided that I would start researching and thinking about it only if DH tested positive. I don't want any added stress on the peanut.

As anyone that has ordered from amazon.com before ever had a delay in shipment because of the weather??? I have an order that has an estimated delivery for Feb 8th but it is still in Indianapolis, IN since friday due to weather. I received an email telling me and I understand it, I have received 5 calls though that have only rang once and then stops and when I look the number up online I can't find anything linked to the numbers would amazon be calling me about the order, I tried to answer this last time and it shut off nothing

I agree with you Snowy. That was the worst half time show ever! I was even disappointed in the commercials. There were 1 or 2 good ones but that was it. The car that is connected to your facebook is totally stupid. One more thing to distract a driver...like we need anymore distractions. I think if you need to be connected to your facebook while in the car, you need a 12 step program for your addiction more then a car like that.

John won the half time and he was happy about that but his happiness was short lived by the Steelers losing. More then Amazon gc's he wanted the Steelers to win because he had a bet on his warcraft game for game gold lol So he unfortunatly has to lose some of his gold in his game.

That is why we decided to stay home. At parties you miss half of what is going on. The biggest thing is you don't have to drive home with the drunks.

Yes, the Kraft is expired. The planters are by the regular nuts. Look on the bottom couple of shelves by the rest of the nuts. They are in taller boxes and each box has 12 in them. Look for the sale type tag that says .79 or .99 cents. We do not have super T either so that isn't the problem. They are the same kinds of nut packages you find at the convenience stores.
I know what you mean about the Kohls qs. used to be .99 for 20 of them! Doone and I were fortunate enough to be able to use all 10 of them. They had a couple of casheirs shift out while we were there.
Another thing to look for at T is the 10 pack of Hanes mens crew socks. They are ringing up for 2.xx instead of 10. We didn't find any but others have. I wanted those for DH.

Seeing you sad makes me very very sad. I know this is a tough and turbulent time for you and that is probably coming in to play right now but I want you to know that I *hated* turning 30. Worse than any birthday so far. People say that 30 is the worst and that they loved turning 50. I sure hope that is the case here b/c I was a hot mess.

Anyway, I'm sending prayers for your sweet heart to get some peace.

First of all, thanks for the prayers Michelle (and everyone else!), I really needed them and appreciated them.
Michelle, I can't imagine what life it like for you right now. You've been given an awful lot to handle. I know that you are doing it with grace and strength, but hang in there as I bet it is never easy.
As for turning 30, it's really not so bad. Ever since my 30th b-day I have trouble remembering how old I actually am. And I don't "feel" any older, per se. Hang in there.

Friday was a very long day, but I think everything went really well. There were around 600 people at Mel's service, so that was pretty amazing. And dh did great leading the music part of it, even though I can't imagine singing some of those songs she picked in front of such a crowd. So hard. Thanks everyone for thinking of us. We needed the strength of your prayers. We left the house before 8am, did music practice, funeral home, cemetery, funeral, reception, family dinner at grandma's. It was quite the day and I'm so thankful DD got to stay home and play with my parents (they drove down to spend the day with her) because there's no way she would have made it through a day like that, and it would have made it even harder for us.

The good news is that Fri, Sat, and right now, she is actually NAPPING again!!! First time in 2 weeks. I just hope she can do it at day care tomorrow, then maybe the nap strike will be over. It's been a very hard 2 weeks with no naps (or a 5pm nap) since we only get those afternoon/evening hours with her on the weekdays and she was insanely crabby.

Dh is at a youth group superbowl party, so when she wakes up, I think us girls will go return some stuff and hit up costco (hopefully everyone else will be busy watching the game and it won't be busy).

I'm not at all ready for a full week of work, but I am thankful for a little time to decompress today too.

Been missing you guys. Watching the game right now just to see who wins in the pool. Right now L143 is winning.
