I had a bad case of montezumas revenge over the weekend...

last thursday my friend gave me a couple mre's. i ate 1 thursday nite, 1 friday nite, and one saturday for lunch. for dinner saturday i had some maggiano's 4 cheese ravioli's.

sunday roles around and i get the sharpest pains running through my gut. i knew what was about to come out of me was not human. i could hardly make it to the restroom. what came out of me was one solid mass of hell. it hurt so bad coming out.

the moral of my story is anyone considering eating mre's, DONT FARKIN DO IT!!

ive read stories online where people have went camping and only ate mre's and gotten really sick and took the sh*t of their life. I didnt believe them until it happened to me. i wouldnt wish that kind of pain on anyone.

mine must have been new age or my buddy was trying to kill me. unfortunately for him i didnt died. close but no cigar.

ive never had them before so i wanted to try them out. they're pretty expensive to buy. they're definately not the worst thing i have ever eaten. it will fark you up though.

you can buy them on amazon. army surplus stores have them as well. just make sure you have a full roll of tp available and a plunger.

The "hot" part of the meal is similar to many canned foods. It's not bad. The bread and crackers are dry. Peanut butter is good, cheese is okay depending on what you get. Cakes and the sort are generally dry. Sometimes you get Skittles or M&Ms. The drink mix is good.

I try to get the Chili with Beans meal if I can. Tastes like canned Hormel chili.
