Took Benadryl...worked for about an hour..and now I am itching like a freakin madwoman again. I would love to know wth caused this so I can stay far, far away. This sucks beyond belief. I just took another Benadryl.
watch that benadryl intake. there are dosage restrictions. you don't want to take too much. ideally you take the right dose and it should knock you off to sleep. no itching.

you can try the green one. we use it despite very sensitive skin here and it has been okay. you might be okay using it tonight and then do the white one tomorrow. just put the gel in the freezer right now for a few minutes since you are up, just to get it good and cold. then put it on.

Tracy, that sounds awful. My kids had a severe allergic reaction (hives) to Aveeno body wash. I don't know why but we can't have any Aveeno anything in this house near the kids. We just used Benadryl cream (at the advice of their allergy doctor) until it went away. I believe they were also on a steriod cream to help.

Sorry. Totally sucks.

Where did Bunnies go? Did the commercial send her dormant?

I STILL have this frickin cold and it is on my last nerve. Nothing seems to work. I lost my friggin Afrin and now I can't breathe or taste or smell. Today was DH's birthday and I was either cleaning/packing or laid up on the couch ready to gouge my eyes out.

I hate moving. I hate moving. Comcast can suck a nut. They want over 400.00 to hook up cable/internet/phone at our new house. Are they absolutely INSANE?

400? what comcast offer/agent are you going through? you are being jipped.

call back. get someone else.
there are sales offers right now where they are paying you at the outset, not charging you!
go online and do a sales chat with them. they're incredibly helpful if you find the right people.

Egads! Don't go doing that!!! You're aggravating the hives!!

hug I hope you feel better soon. I wish I had some great wisdom to spread, but I think everyone else has covered it pretty much.

Any waggers in here that can explain it to me. I am so lost and confused with this weeks threads...

I have some sinex q's, some fusion q's, and some L'Oreal q's - I seem to remember there being deals on those items. I looked at the inventory checker earlier, and most stores say in-stock for the sinex but "check store" or "out of stock" on the joint juice. What transactions are you all doing?? Am I missing anything? What is the dulcolax deal - I have 4 coupons (2x3.00 and 2x2.00 off)

I know...thats what dh said...I did google it and it said that adults can safely take 25-50 mg. I took two 25 mg tablets, so I should be ok...hopefully. Starting to kick in again...off to sleep. Wish me luck.

dreeme - It sounds like you need lots and lots of rest and maybe some of that wine that other folkses were mentioning earlier!

I am soooo tired, but haven't gotten myself up to go to bed. DH is out and it's so hard to sleep when he's not here. Frown

That is what I was hoping for. But he seems really terrified of toilets. He hates his little potty and won't even just sit on it to read like his older sisters did. We got him a new one and he would rather carry the insert around and eat snacks out of it. It is new but still, it just looks so WRONG on so many levels that he likes to carry that thing around and eat snacks out of it. Ugh! LMAO He is also scared of toilet, DH has perched him on the big potty and held him there for 45 min or so encouraging him to poo but he just clung to him and didn't do it. Not until he had a diaper on. So when he is diaperless he will run to my shower and pee in there. He has done it a few times now. DH thinks we should just encourage him to do that because he won't go near his tiny potty for his business needs and he is to short to pee in the big potty. Dontknow maybe there is a online tutorial for potty training boys, both my girls were done potty training at 2, they just took right to it.
Quote from BeKind2Others :
Both of my boys trained at home with me turning them around to sit and face backwards on the potty. It lets them hang onto the lid and they can't possibly fall in. You can throw a few cheerios in the potty too for "point and shoot" practice! laugh out loud I also let them kneel on the seat when they were too short. Standing on the stool didn't work for them because they felt too wobbly. And hang in there! It will probably all come together for him when you least expect it! hug
Since he likes to use the potty as a snack bowl, I am not sure about having him pee on cheerios. laugh out loud I have seen little floating targets you can buy though.

I know one thing to NOT do when potty training a boy - when they are learning to do the standing thing - Don't talk to them from behind - because they TURN around to speak to you - peeing the whole way around...

Nikayla - since he goes to the shower to pee - that is a sign that he is being potty trained. Not quite the potty you want - but he knows he has to go, and goes where he thinks he should go to do it. The only problem is that it is the wrong place - but he is "trained" so to speak - or training.

But if you are grossed out because he wants to eat out of his potty insert - imagine how grossed out he is that you want him to poop in his snack bowl. laugh out loud

Apparently, he has already put it into the category of something to eat out of - so changing that perception will probably be pretty hard.

Your idea of videos might be helpful though - if he can keep seeing what he is supposed to be doing with it - it might sink in.

OMG! This one is a HOOT!

That is funny. I've been considering a little road trip with the kids to Gainesville. Can't decide if I really want to drag them there.
As long as your coupons are unexpired, the Gainesville store is great. Total givers.

I guess I missed this. Where are you moving to? Yes, that is unreasonably high, even for Comcast. I would call back. Are you set on Comcast? What about Directv?

Who wants my $5 Kohl's coupons that expire tomorrow? I have 4 of them..
If you still have these, I could definitely use them!

Ok all... stressed as the thought of moving comes closer...not too close but I really DO NOT want to rent and keep seeing homes that would be great but what if I can't find one when we are ready to buy/move.........errrrrrrrrrrr so many things lol

I found a 6 bdrm 4 1/2 bath home on 5 acres... with a 5 car garage.. oh sooooooooooo nice!! Oh and gorgeous kitchen...oy... I want it now...lol
You're moving too? Just a bigger house? Still close to where you are now?
Yes, moving sucks. We are kind of living a nomadic life right now, since we don't have a place of own yet. We are waiting to see what happens w/ renters in MI. This means that we are literally living out of suitcases and boxes. Very inconvenient.

Teehee Totally know what you mean! Oldest ds was 2 1/2 when little bro was born. I couldn't take looking at his big old boodie compared to my newborn and really stepped up the potty-training then! Teehee

Oh, and if you haven't tried this yet, try good-old-fashioned bribery! Totally works with my youngest (oldest is too "smart" for it and resents it actually). M&m's, a toy, a book, a cookie, special time with mommy or daddy... anything that is scarce and desired by your little guy.

I also never did the small potty for my guys because cleaning that thing out would have made me vomit. I bought the baby bjorn potty seat because it had the molded lip on the front to keep everything down where it belongs Teehee, and they started right out on the big potty for pooping. Maybe you can find just the right book to keep them there sitting long enough for nature to take its course! (using afore-mentioned bribery to get them on the potty in the first place of course!) Then he can keep his little potty as his snack-bowl! Oh, and I do hope you've gotten pictures of him eating out of that potty so you can seriously embarrass him later in life!

If you do try the cheerios in the big potty, make sure you really turn it into a game! e.g. Keep score for every cheerio he dunks!

I don't know if I'll be flogged bringing this over or not. No Tomato please.

This post has a $1/1 Sunchips or Ruffles MQ (Walgreens prominently in RED) in it, and each time you open the link, you can print 2, non-unique Qs.

Walgreens has select Lays 2/$5 this week and there is an IVC in the January Book for $1/2. I got them for $1 a bag plus tax. I guess to go with all the Pepsi products we've been buying at CVS.

I've been so confused by the Wags deals this week, but I'm pretty sure I can handle this one. Thanks. I just have a question about the $1/1 MQ, the one I printed out, doesn't have a barcode or anything for them to scan. I'm assuming it's supposed to, right? I use a mac, and am betting that the MQ isn't set up for mac users......@#$%^&!
