Now, I am sipping coffee and trying to plan out my day. I need to get to publix for one last ragu run.. and I want to go to Target cause I haven't been in forever it seems! And the kids have places they all need/want to go too. I think tonight will be leftovers for dinner. I can't stand when I put them in the fridge and no one eats them, so I need to have a left over night to clear somethings out.
Why is it that we don't get any good p&g coupns anymore.. All we get is that gillette bogo and I am not a fan of that one..

Ank~ Sophia still hasn't had a hair cut! I just can't bring myself to do it. The kid has beautiful hair (shiny, strong, tons if it) so it pains me to think about it! She is almost 4 and a half yaers old too. We always get comments from others about her long hair (its past her bottom) and how amazed they are that its so long.

i went to the asian mkt to get veggies b/c we are expecting another 6-8inches tomorrow nite and not sure if i will get to the supermarket until maybe friday. got asparagus, baby bellas, shanghai bok choy, napa cabbage, kohlrabi, scallions, cherries, udon noodles, firm tofu, oyster sauce and milk.
already ate half the shanghai bok choy and some of the baby bellas for dinner tonite. i think the rest of the wks dinners will end up like this-
-asparagus, baby bellas, onion, stir fried w/ either beef or chicken
-kohlrabi stir fried w/ shrimp
-udon noodle soup w/ either napa cabbage or shanghai bok choy w/ either shrimp, chicken or ham and either shitake mushroom (always have dried in the pantry) or the baby bellas
-bean thread noodles w/ napa cabbage, shitake mushroom, egg and either ham or chicken
-napa cabbage stir fried w/ shrimp
i'm feeling like mac and cheese this wk so i might do it w/ ham and peas and have the asparagus and mushrooms on the side. lemme get the ham steak out to defrost right now. half the ham will go in the mac and cheese , half will go in the bean thread noodles. b4 i started trying to eat better, i would just have mac and cheese w/ peas for dinner. now i make some sort of vegetable side for half my plate.
need to go out again tomorrow to buy whole wheat buns for lunches.

If you are closer to North brusnwick, some of those Asian stores esp korean and chinese in RT 27 has very fresh sea food esp on weekend...
My husband snapped this picture of us hugging each other goodbye as we were leaving to go home. That was the last time I saw my sister alive. Though I was planning to go visit her again in March, she died in her sleep, unexpectedly, in late February.
I am SO glad my husband took this picture - because it reminds me so much that if I had known that was the last time I would see my sister, I would have spent out last moments together EXACTLY the same way (except I might have hugged her a just little harder and a whole lot longer...)
She was only 23, married for less than 2 yrs and just had her most wanted baby girl for 2 months, though she had her 9/10 matched donor, her cancer cells were uncurable and in the end we had to let her sleep within 7 months..Your post moved me to tears..
Other times - it is painful to throw them out and realize I missed the deal.
Sometimes I think I am going to get organized and be one of those people who list - I have 12 extra coupons for ___ to RAOK, instead of someone who is digging through the back seat at the store saying "Where in the (*&(*&^Y) is that coupon?"
Probably won't get there though.....
An unexpected snow day today - wasn't expecting anything until this afternoon, but apparently it decided to come early!
