Okay, I live in the south and have never made it with that much. My gallon of tea normally has about 1.5 cups of sugar.. Well, that is for the family. Mine is unsweetLMAO with 1 packet of splenda per glass..

But, I also don't like weak tea that you can see through. I like a strong flavor!

If I was getting iced tea at a restaurant in the south, I would ask them to make it 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweetened because wow is sweet tea sweet.

But how many tea bags to what amount of water? How much sugar?

If I am going to make iced tea , I want the 'real' stuff..after all I have to compensate for the lack of kuerig.

Oh no! A year, that seems like a long time but also, I know last year went by really fast for me, maybe mostly because DS was just growing up way to fast and I didn't have time for things like I did before baby. hug
If things with his class don't work out and it does take a year maybe that is because there is this really amazing huge house that will be ready exactly when you need it to be and it will be perfect. Sorry about the bad news meesh.

What's with the siggy..well..I think it has something to do with my personality..I'm a genius..I'm sarcastic..I'm funny..I'm witty..I'm just a character and well..I can't help but let it show. Truth be told..all you gals bring out the 'best' in me! Grouphug

I love grits. I like them with some cream or Half & Half, lots of sugar, and little butter. My favorite hot "cereal".

Use black tea. I prefer Tetley or Luzianne. For a regular size coffee pot use 4 tea bags and about 2/3 cup of sugar in your pot. Just toss it in the bottom. Then pour your water in and run your coffee maker just like you would for coffee. When it's done, give it a stir and let it set for a few minutes. Then pour it into a glass pitcher and refrigerate.

Adjust your sugar to your taste. I am using Splenda currently. I just made a pot. Drinking some hot right now.

mmmmmm, sweet tea. I cheat and buy the pre-bottled Diet Sweet Tea from Publix. Tastes like my sweet tea but made with Splenda and it's already in a gallon jug Whee

yep, I agree that multi-quote isn't working (or the pulldowns either... PITA to have to go to the forums directory to get here).
