I've got a "Congrats on your FIRST Child" cheesecake in the oven. Was interesting putting it together, because my fluorescent light decided tonight that it just didn't want to turn on. Cheesecake mixing by candlelight! Thank God for electric mixers though.

Ok, JJ had, well still has, a milk protein allergy. Be careful with soy, b/c it is also a larger protein that is difficult for their little tummies to digest. I screwed around with removing all dairy and soy from my diet for 2-3 mos and no improvement with my colicky little dude. At 4.5 mos I said forget it, no more BFing, this kid is going on Alimentum. His screaming/crying got much better, but at nearly 5 mos he was pretty much conditioned to be a high maintenance baby. At 17, nearly 18 mos he's still a craptastical sleeper and high maintenance. I figure by 30 he should be evened out. Rofl2

I should find ours I know it is in a closet somewhere. Yes it is what you think, I guess not that big of a deal if you already use cloth diapers. It does sound like most people who use it, at least that commented on the blog, use it for pee since girls use so much more TP and pee more often. Dontknow still gross though.

She does have some interesting ideas though, like solar cooking etc. DH has been watching lots of 2012 doomsday stuff, so a lot of her extreme frugalness would come in very handy if there were some kind of disaster where you had no electricity.

I don't know where my brain has been!!

If it's any consolation, Mavis was super-kicker too. I swear she was trying out for UFC or planning to be a kick-boxing champion. She is still physically active, but she's my most laid back and calm and QUIET child.

Mine were the same way as well! DS1 never stopped kicking, punching, headbutting my belly. Now is a couch potato. DS2, hardly felt a kick or a nudge, is the one who took his knee out in football!
