A question about handtags.. been to the target for finish and c9 handtags
I grabbed few, hubby was like super agitated and told me that it is wrong..blah blah...too much and he was saying that it is like stealing and i was too upset..
While we were arguing over there, a red came in the isle looked at me with my handtags..and immediately went away .. it was too obvious
We did get out immediately, didn't get the tags..next time no hubby for sure...

Now i am wondering if I would be in trouble for grabbing those handtags??? Do T monitor us taking that tags (there are way too many camera's in that damn cleaning suppies aisle..
I am worried about getting to that store, it is my fav store..

In bad news, turns out we need all new plumbing pipes. The.whole.damn.house. I am beyond upset. We also had to rip off our front stairwell because the handrail is too wide and previous plumbing work was done with the wrong kind of sealant and has to be redone. Sigh. Had other plans for our tax refund. sadwalk:
hugSorry to hear about the house.. Praying for you guys

I have not been eating salad as a meal but just incorporating it into my meals so I dont eat junk..

And when I was asking abt protein shakes, I did read abt chocolate milk..But I am still not convinced because of the sugars..Although it is very very tempting...
Yeah, about protein shakes, we do that all time, but it is kind of smoothie with this [amazon.com] protein powder
I take about 4 oz an hour b4 the workout and a full 8 oz after the workout (I do kickboxing for an hour - 4 times/week)... The basic recipe is like this 1 apple+ 1 carrot + 3-4 frozen strawberries + 2 dates or a tsp or unsulphured molasses + 1/2 fresh or frozen banana + 2 tsp protein powder with water/milk/almond milk (home made) - with Vitamix blender
This smoothie keeps me full and not letting me go near junk food..
I also make greenie smoothie with raw greens too, i am kind of ok with it, but add a big dollop of molasses..
We have also been doing pea & rice protein isolate, dont remember the brand name, need to ask hubby// Hubby does weights all the time, so he is very routine with the smoothie too

There's a newbie (ie, first post on SD) that showed up in the Publix thread tonight who bought 100 Qs for dog treats and they are sad because dog treats were not in their ad. (Just in the past month or so, the Publix ad has started to be different in certain locations).

Would you buy Qs if you didn't know for certain that the item was in your ad?

Any suggestions on SALADS...
you don't have to eat salad. steamed veggies can be just as good for you, esp plain or maybe a little lemon juice. i like lemon pepper too. how bout edamame?

ovaltine? horlicks? milk and honey? yogurt smoothie? soy milk? almond milk? rice milk? maybe just as a treat every once in awhile.

Good evening everyone Smilie Had a great day today!

We had a blast at CEC. First time my DD had ever been there and she loved it.. She played games, climbed the tubes, sang with chuck e, and ate pizza and cake. I think she really enjoyed the day. It got pretty crowded shortly after we arrived, but wasn't too terrible. I managed to get out with only eating salad and drinking some water, so I was happy with myself.
congrats on the salad and water. don't think i could have resisted pizza and cake. well....i had their pizza once and it tasted weird! i might have done salad and a tiny sliver of cake.

I saw that and was shocked! I went to P today and saw 5 people with little Q according folders in their cart. I have NEVER seen anyone with Qs at my store. Ever.

Yeah, I normally love pizza, but this was just plain cheese and didn't really tempt me.. and the cake was actually cupcakes and they were store bought from kroger vomit even 2 of my kids didn't like the icing.. So, definitely not worth the waste of calories..
Now, a KK doughnut I would not have been able to resist laugh out loud

Sounds like she knew it was in the ad but didn't know that about the recent change the store had made with different ads for different places.

I now have 8' 8" of sturdy wall cabinets in my garage. I wonder what I will keep in them... My floating pool lounge chairs are rehang nicer too. Big Grin

Fed the chihuahua the last can of Mighty Dog last night and will be starting on the Beneful tomorrow. I have enough for 3 or 4 months. I'm gonna need another soft dog food deal soon.

L2bee -- great job on resisting. I have had CEC once. ONLY once, never again. That has to be the nastiest, greasiest pizza ever. Nonetheless, excellent willpower! No matter how nasty the pizza is, it still smells yummy and taunts you! And please, you don't know that a cupcake is bad until you eat it. In the mean time, there it sits... being a cupcake and looking Delicious.

morning.

Thrifteh, unless your Mennonite men wear make up, I'm pretty sure you knew what I meant.

Redplum.com won't print for me this morning. I select my Qs and keep getting the bananas post (sorry, we don't know what has happened...) cleared cookies and 3 Qs (all unilever related) printed as TQs. I can't believe it's not butter, Lipton and Bertolli.

I would absolutely, positively, not even consider taking kids to Vegas. Ever.
I must be the crazy one. I've actually been trying to figure out a way to take my 7yo to Vegas sometime soon, preferably this year. I would love for him to see the facades of the crazy buildings on the strip. Places like the Pyramid & the Pirate Ship and its outdoor free show, And some of the indoor shopping areas of the casinos with their pretend Venice, Nile, circus etc. Oh, and the restaurant with the light show and the giant Frog that emerges from the top of a waterfall. But what I really want is to take him to see Cirque de Soleil's show "O". I went to it a few years ago and LOVED it. I think he would be absolutely mystified by it.

I think it would be fun to go for just a long weekend, tour the Ridiculous "Fake" Sights around the strip, taken in a dinner and show then go home. Only problem is that he goes to a Christian school and though I don't really care about what others think I guess I'm still just a bit worried about how Brian's Teachers or school friends parents would react to him saying he went to Vegas for vacation.

That's funny. Are they super religious? Like they will call CPS on you if he is all "Vegas, Baby!"
