need i tell you how jealous this has made my kids' friends. they already have pokemon black which doesn't come out for another 2 weeks. LOL

its very convenient to have only one game cartridge to worry about. it stays in their ds all the time because everything they want to play is already on it.

No harm taken.......I am just trying to help you understand why it is important to me to have the info. I *see* having this info. as a way to help myself form a solution in the long-run because that is how I think. I really do not care for drama; far too time-consuming for me....if I really wanted to start something or cause drama I would go myself. Now, if I HAVE to deal w/a bit of drama to get to the bottom of something I will. I didn't think my OP was a big griping, ranting, complaining post anyway. Up until now she'd bragged about how she donates all kinds of stuff...to me personally the confirmation regular GSing changes things a bit....so I did express anger over that --- because I thought you all could empathize after the last round of all of this. But really for no other reason than that.

I would kind of like to know her pricing too for future reference...in this post she says she goes w/half of WM's price although for some stuff....Dontknow I don't have any plans to GS on a reg. basis but if I did decide to have another it'd be helpful to know what I am up against anyway.

Would love the Wii backup info as well...

Sent DS to get the Active2, explained it very well, he still didn't get it. Ugh. Now may have to drive up there (10 miles, not a big deal) and do it myself. Darn kids. Try to teach them some life skills, and they mess it up!

i believe the active2 is like the AceKard2i same basic idea. its important to teach them useful skills but sometimes they need barney style tutorials or actually hand holding to learn. the sacrifices we all make.

its amazing what you can learn from youtube and google isn't it?

Such a beautiful day here today!! Almost 65 degrees bounce It is supposed to be close to 70 on Thursday and I am planning an outdoor trip to take my DD to do something fun. I can't wait.. I love spring time weather.. Hate summer though, so I need to take advantage of doing things before it gets unbearably hot and humid here..

I have absolutely no idea what we are having for dinner.. Looks like it may be a TGIF night. I need to get some groceries cause I am out of meat again. I really need a good ground beef sale.. I hate paying 3.00 + for a pound of ground beef.

As far as sales go, there are definitely a ton more couponers here lately.. SO many times the shelves are empty. Even on the first morning of a publix sale, I don't get half of what I want. I have just come to expect it laugh out loud I have a ton of rainchecks right now.. Sadly, some of the things never come in stock before the coupons expire either.. It used to really bother me, but now I just figure another deal will come along at some point.. Last year I had about 3 or 4 stockpile sales and did very well.. This year, not so much to sell Sadwalk

On the deal related note.. noticed yesterday the nivea lotion is on sale again.. Some were in the 4.50 range and one was 3.7x.. Pretty good deal with the 5.00 coupons heart

Iagree We have done this with all our DS's, our old PS2, our PSP, and are thinking of doing it for our Wii.

Speaking of the Wii, ours doesn't get used too often, just thought I would throw that out there. We use our Kinect WAY more, but I do think once we mod the Wii, it will be used more!

Oh kinda funny story from Valentines at our house. My bro got me "Flipped" for my bday (an adorable movie btw!) and J said "Crap! I got you that for Vday!" I was like, its ok, we can return it, and he said it was a burned copy so no go. I made fun of him for getting me a burned anything for my Vday gift. So then yesterday, we had lunch together and I made sure to tell him that I would be ok with a burned gift and I didn't mean to sound so ungrateful. He said he understood and didn't say much else.
Well fast forward to last night after he got home from work. We gave our gift to the girls and then I gave him his gift. He opened it and liked it and then promptly ran upstairs. He came back down and handed me a $50 T GC and said "happy valentines dear!" I was :shocked: and Annoyed but said thank you and tried to dispel my frustration over the gift. I am working on being more grateful for how wonderful he is to me, so I was happy that I let it go.
Well then we are about to go to bed for the evening and he starts to laugh, and I am like "what?!?!" Confused Well we start talking, it turns out the GC was a gift from his work to him for Vday and he thought it was funny to play the prank on me. He really made me burned CD's with music he knew I would like (he made me a burned CD at Xmas with a personalized track list stating what each song meant to him regarding me), so I am very excited about this gift and even more happy that he didn't spend $ on a T GC!! laugh out loud

Me thinks I must figure out what this is all about. I haven't been to deals in ages. Gotta finish up a couples things then sit back down with the lappy and start checking out what is going on now for deals. I was informed by DD that we are going shopping tomorrow.

I have no idea what is out there other than Wish Bone salad dressing. They are out of ranch and I think it will be cheaper to buy a bunch of bottles rather than the gallon jug that I usually buy. Hmm, better make sure they like that kind first. I think I am the only person in the world who doesn't like ranch. I hate it. I think it tastes like some old musty dirty something... I don't know what. Just baaaad.

Texted DS back, told him to go back and buy it, don't ask any questions, just let them ring it up. He did it! Now he is at home playing it. Big Grin

Nephew is hanging in there, they created a Caring Bridge site, so maybe I will get more info that way! They are testing some of the matches, but don't know when the bone marrow donation will happen. Thanks for asking!

shake head I don't *hate* ranch but it really is not my favorite either. I don't like it on salad but will occasionally have a little bit with raw veggies or whatever. I am an italian fan Smilie Ken's used to make this really good Italian dressing with a little bit of parm. cheese in it and it was yummy. Now I can't find it. There are others with parm. in them I've just not found anything like it since.

Lisa, I can't remember what you said they diagnosed him with that he was having to go through a BMT at some point?? When they get his CB going if you don't mind posting it or PM'ing I would love to follow his site and pray for him! Some friends have a dd who has cancer (is in remission currently) and we follow a lot of kiddos on CB and CarePages. It really puts life in perspective sometimes.
