I think it's about deciding what's important. Is it really important that I find out what is being said about me behind my back, or is it more important to me to cherish my friends and spend that time with them?

I see it as giving priority and head space. If someone is talking about me, more power to them. I am not going to give them my head space.

How many times have you talked about someone behind their back? How many times have you come home and said to your hubby, mother, father, whomever that your boss is a "we-nee".

Nothing horrible was said about you. Nothing life changing. Nothing slanderous. It might have been said that you 'snicker' a little too much. You find 'fault' or you think your the 'princess' and all others are froggies. It's not worth the time you are giving it.
There is a difference between coming home and speaking in private to your SO or family about your boss then openly posting things on a forum that were never addressed with the individual per say. I actually have to laugh out loud if anyone construes any of the above references to me.
Anyways I respect your opinion and thanks for sharing it.

Wouldn't it be nice to sit on the porch with a hot cup of coffee during the early morning hours just watching.

Or on a hot summer day, drinking lemonade....

I know I'm jealous too!

I was just thinking what a change Gator and her family have been thru in such a short span of time. Snow X feet deep to that pic out her back yard. Always bundling up to go outside, to T-shirts and shorts.

The one word I would peg on you is 'sensitive'.
Yes there is a difference in saying something in the privacy of your own home versus a forum. As you can see from this forum, it's not large. There are a few regulars and the occasional visitor.

I would be more concerned about the friend/minion who came to tell you. Either they were trying to stir the pot or they were seeking to score brownie points with you so that they could be elevated to a higher status in your eyes.

Anyway..my point is it's not important. Use the ignore button and when the friends come a calling to tell you you are being talked about..tell them with a smile..I'm happy I am that important then go back to what you were doing. You will become a better person for it and you will feel better.

We have different opinions regarding respect, tolerance and sensitivity Wink
Guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

Bunnies, I thought of you when I saw the dolphins this morning. This was the best picture i could get. Mind you, it's taken from the other side of the river...probably 1/4 mile away. There were 2 of them, just playing in the river. so cool.

Beautiful !!! I've seen dolphins in Jersey yes, believe it or not the water has cleaned up vastly and they have returned in droves. Rented a house for the summer on the beach in Long Beach Island and they use to commute back and forth same time every day morning and evening between wildwood and atlantic city . Used to have breakfast on the deck and watch them.

You have your own little piece of heaven in that view , doesn't get much better than that. I am colored jealous also ...Big Grin

I honestly didn't know they where in rivers , I thought they where salt water animals. Have only seen them in oceans , Hawaii, the Gulf in florida, Jersey ,duck carolina. I am dolphin crazed.

My daughter is crazy about mantees ,never did manage to get the place in Florida where they are abundant... LOL she loves hairless guinea pigs tooo. they look like like pygmy rhinos.

So TARGET related, I need to make a run there to get a GC. I want to buy freezer things so badly but I just don't think I'm going to have time today. I bet all the cheap goodies are wiped out by now. lol
It depends on how many SDers in your area, the signs are up and only on some of the frozen items. Even though the fine print does mention something about any frozen product a lot of regular shoppers are not noticing. My sister said there was tuns of frozen at her Targets and no one really seems to be shopping the deal.

That's awesome about SIL. Brave for opening her own firm...once she gets settled into practice, I am sure it will really pay off. Sad to say bankruptcy is the best area of law to be in right now.

Yes, I wish more states had reciprocity with Bar admission. It's kind of a racket making people pay to take exams but I believe that there are some states that should recognize that you are admitted in another jurisdiction.
I thought so to, her older sister had worked for an attorney for two years doing bankrupcy while she was in law school. Then older sis got kinda laid off, she was still helping the attorney but doing it from home and less often. Lil sis, fresh out of law school and no experience moved back and was not sure exactly what to do so they teamed up and started doing the bancrupcy together.

The couponing really came in handy when she was in college, used to save up cleaning ,health and beauty supplies and send a HUGE care package UPS . I found it was cheaper to send one MONDA package then a bunch of little ones.

Her roomates , off campus housng , ( she changed roomates three times over the course of school ) acted like it was christmas !!! They loved and appreciated it and said it made a huge difference in their very limited for some of them budget. The last one has caught the afflication herself, WinkI am so proud of her !

I tried to convice dd to sell her xtrra extra for some cash, but she was like these are my friends ... just gave the excess away. I sent waay to much .... she gave away her stockpile when she came home because she knew she was coming to an even larger stash here.

Yeah I shopped thrift stores for a long time ,was fortunate to do it in wealthy areas, used to get aerpostle, banana repulic ll bean tons of name brands , some with tags still on alot more than you would think .
I could do better there than Target or elsewhere for name brand nice things that usually where just last seasons that had been little worn. No more, first it has gotten really chic to shop thrift stores , plus they are now charging riduclous prices.

I just really love haaving the discretionary money going for things I want instead of tp, laudry , dish detergent. It is so much more fun !!! bounce.

I did manage to get to the store for that lousy RP insert , there was only 1 good Q in their . and now I don't even remember what it was.

I started qpons at cvs easy, no hassel and saved a fortune in a very short time . The key is rolling those xtra bucks , occaisonaly I had to buy some things I didn't need or couldn't use just to keep those rolling,
but not often and then I just donated them. Then I de discovered when I needed to return something that when you return something paid for with ecb they refund you a gift card so that helps.
I also managed to supply my son with diapers , wipes and etc from there. I truly love my cvs the way alot of people luv target.

The T's in my area are tough and not q friendly at all, more like hostile, but i keep trying, unti until I get so infurated I take a break .
I guess it just depends with them which T you shop. I really don't know whether it's personal attitudes with mine or lack of training and I'm to the point I stopped trying to figure it out.
I would prbly love them as much as cvs if it weren't for the hassels.

Wags is further from me and I still haven't managed to wrap my head around that though I have tried., and the limits on brand for register RR just makes it way compicated for me.

Rite aid s is closer , but the changed their program and it's compicated now also and somehow , I haven't had time to re- learn though I need to . They have great deals also , and are pretty reasonable usually.

Hope your back issues clear up soon. .
Thanks, hope my back is better very soon too.

I have been known to give my stockpile stuff away too, not as much now that I am shopping a lot less. Especially when it is things we use all the time and run out of. DD should have tried to sell at least some, but I understand, I do it to somethimes, and it was totally free for her. The thing is, it is not really free, ever. Time is spent reading up on the deals, buying the paper/coupons, or hours in the recycle bin, finding, printing, cutting the coupons finding the time to shop and the gas. Sometimes just thinking about putting together envelopes for some shopping trips overwhelms me to the point I put it off a few more days and work on other things that seem less overwhelming.

I did Wags and Rite Aid a little bit before my lilB was born, now they have changed things up, esp Rite Aid. It seems so overwhelming to get back into it all. Plus I have a decent stockpile of things we need so I don't totally need to, I have to much fun playing with my lil guy and my couponing is suffering a bit. I have never been close to a CVS so it is like french to me. The Ts here are ok, unless you try to shop every day or in bigger quantities.

Heck ya, it even makes me really want to walk or maybe run along the river just watching it all. I am jealous too.
