So DS laid down for my mandatory "rest" time and totally fell asleep. This hasn't happened in months. Now I get to hang out with you guys a little longer!
And just how long is Cole's mandatory rest time? I don't know what I will do when my boys give up their naps. My 3 yo still takes a 3hr nap. OMG

Its 6:00 - should I go wake up the kids from their nap? Hide They're all 3 sleeping, hubby's still at work, and its so deliciously quiet, I hate to ruin it.
I would hate to ruin it but I don't think my kiddos would go to sleep for the night at 7:30 if I let them nap until 6... laugh out loud

Had to run to T yesterday for a couple of little things and had the bestest ever cashier. She was awesome. She did tell me about another lady who went from $6X.XX down to .65. I guess that's where all the quantum and the pain reliever went to. But I suppose that's the case of "snooze you loose". They had a ton of jeans so I got a couple of pairs to see if they will fit. We'll see...

Hi All,
Long time no post for me b/c I've been super busy Wave Wave Wave

I (finally) am getting in on the amazon diaper thing though and wanted to see if any TCCers had any spare YT 20% codes to trade. I'm looking for 2 of them Smilie I've got a $10 code and a YJ code to trade. Just drop me a PM.

.
Hey BB! I was thinking about you recently. I have some YT codes. PM coming your way.

Went to the Dr. Seuss story time this morning. It was really fun. They read 4 books while we were there and DS was so funny...he was reciting the books really loudly while they were reading them... they also gave away reusable bags full of goodies for the kids and Who Reads? Target Tshirts. Very cool, although I don't think I have ever sat on the floor in T before. laugh out loud Also had a very nice impromptu run with a known jedi. Picked up more frozen foods and Pup-Peroni before the GC deals end.

Converse. The all girls school in Spartanburg.

She has two more seasons to play, but when I've looked for a rental for the BB season, they want $120 a NIGHT. Damn, I can get a hotel room (and a nice one) for that.

They aren't very far apart. One of the Sr BB girls dates one of the Wofford BB men.

It's a little over 6 1/2 hours to drive one way, but I'm going to see my niece so it's OK, but I'd sure like someplace that I could stay (and the rest of the family could stay) each time we head that way.

When did you change your username?

So are they new people? Or just lurkers who have finally started posting, but only in the GS thread.

I made cinnamon toast with chili powder once. I didn't know it until the first bite.

going to print a bunch of qs first.
Not sure, didn't look at the start date. I guess the fact that they post little, give little to the site, but yet obviously profit hugely from it, is what bothers me the most.

And YUCK on the "cinnamon toast"! That's just gross! And I could totally see myself doing that, if I don't label them...

I have made my son, who is now 5, stay in his room as long as the girls are sleeping, or until daddy comes home, whichever comes first. Our house is so small, that if he's out in the main areas playing, they will wake up. Sometimes I weaken and let him watch a little TV. Since he started school, he rarely gets to watch it because I don't allow TV in the evenings, so its a little treat for him.

I've had him do that since he stopped taking regular naps, around 2.5 or 3 years old. For me, that was way too soon for him to stop taking naps - I needed that break in the afternoon, even if he didn't. laugh out loud But we found if we forced him to sleep in the afternoon, it would take him 2+ hours to fall asleep at night. But if he didn't sleep in the afternoon, he went right to bed at 8.

We went to the Dr. Seuss story time, too, and I was disappointed. The girl in charge had brought her family, which included a younger daughter and an almost teenage daughter, and they were more of a distraction to her than a help. Everything was haphazard, and my kids didn't even get a goodie bag. Kind of bummed.

Hoping to get an hour or two this afternoon to run out and do a little shopping. Might drop by Burlington and BRU to see if they have some mags. See if I can't get in on this deal!!

Okay, DH said if the disc you were sent is a true XP install disc than you should be able to install it on the old laptop, but you need to boot the computer to that disc.. When you put the disc in, power computer on, and it should ask you if you want to boot from CD hit any key.. he says if it doesn't give you that option than your bios isn't set to boot from CD and it will be a little more complicated..

Okay, that made no sense to me laugh out loud but I was typing what he said Wink

He said new laptops don't come with true install discs.. they come with restore discs specific to that particular machine that will have all the drivers, etc.. needed for that computer.. so, if you get a new one with XP, W7, whatever, you can't just use that disc and pop it into another computer and make it work.

HTH! My DH knows alot about computers, and people call him all the time.. but, I am not computer smart at all.. when I have computer problems, if I can't get DH at work on the phone to help me, I get my kids.. the boys know much more than I do LMAO
Ha, kinda made sense to me, it did do that - boot to CD - but then didn't work....Maybe I could Priority the lappy to your DH with a few T GCs in there and he can just deal with the fuggin thing!

Oh I forgot about DrSeuss, but it was 'pay weekend' here, everyone came to YS with the bank envie of cash and expected me to change 100 50 and all 20s It got to a point where I had only 4 $1 bills and the rest were $20s at which point I sent DH to the ONLY bank open on Saturday to get me 40 $1s - that I never touched. Did super though, another $550 day.

Now I'm off to RA to stock up one more J&J and Huggies before our big Turkey dinner for no reason Cool

It started to work but then one thing would pop up and say error can not install xyz hit enter to try again - enter = no working, hit esc to more on, then another thing then another thing until at the end it shut off and went back in the loop to hit any key to boot from CD

That makes a lot of sense... especially when some of them don't even contribute to the GS forum either.. but just pop in to ask what to price things for...

Morning peeps!

Hopefully I can make a quick Target run today. I can not find the oral pain TQ Frown any body help a sista out? Is is one that expires today? I hope not, we could really use some. I didn't realize I had given away all my Mortin I got from Wags last year until a few days ago when I organized my med cabinet. I only have one less than half full bottle.
Wishing I would have made copies of some of the qs. I got lazy and just printed them directly from the site when I needed them.

As for Motrin -

From Wags 2/27 wiki:

$3 RR wyb Motrin IB Pain Relief 20 ct $3 FREE after RR
Motrin IB or Motrin PM Product $1 (4/30/11) SS #2 1/9/2011
Zyrtec, Pepcid, Motrin or Precise, any except trial $6.00/2 (4/30/11) SS #2 1/9/2011

laugh out loud 1:40 PM and I'm finally checkin' in here for the day...better late than never huh? We weren't able to make it to T. story time today Frown Wanted to go just too much to do.

I cooked the most yummiest chicken last night for dinner. Warmed a little butter in the skillet then sprinkled a mixture of garlic/onion powder/seasoned salt in, threw the chicken in, then sprinkled a bit more of the mixture over the top and cooked about 8 min. per side. It was delicious! I guess that's considered 'frying' it laugh out loud Scratchhead Huh A little bit 'o butter doesn't bother me though.....I just don't like 'frying' stuff in oil.

Gator, when did you change your username? How do you even do that? Have thought about changing mine so a certain SC has less of a chance of finding me on the 'net Wink That and my profile pic but I'll leave that up a bit longer hopefully....just for Bunnies Smilie

TY for the heads up on this! I need to start stocking up for GS season so I need to get back into the habit of reading the Wags/CVS threads.

I am not sure that coupons even work so well for "normal people" who just try to use them without learning all the strategies.

They end up paying more for stuff they buy just because they had a coupon, or a cashier gives them a hard time and scares them off, or they just don't want to take the time to learn the best way to use them.

Maybe it is kind of like trying to invest in the stock market without knowing what you are doing.

Couponing is not for sissies!
