A new $1 off meat TQ was mentioned in the Publix thread today. Did anyone actually get one snail mailed to them or have it in their Saturday edition of the Sunday paper?

BUT - the p&g did have one target friendly JMS coupon.. swiffer bogo.. and the huggies wipes coupon looked nice too! bounce

I am stinking tired.

I feel like I've been running for 3 days straight and not entirely sure what I have to show for it. Well, that's not exactly true. DH is a very happy post-birthday guy and I have some new stuff. I'm just exhausted. And my house is ridiculously cluttered.

I spent the day wrestling kids (not necessarily bad... just busy!), Kohl's, JCP, errands, hubby's bday dinner with some other friends who couldn't meet last night, little more Kohl's & JCP, home for fashion show and putting everyone to sleep.

I still have q's left. Makes me sad. Frown

I know the feeling.. We met DH family for dinner cause they weren't in town yesterday for his bday.. It was nice.. then, I went to target but cashier selection was unimpressive, and they were still out of finish, tonys pizza, razors, and a few other things.. I was so tired and just couldn't find anything good to buy, so I left empty handed EEK!

Then, went to Publix and had an okay trip.. Got about 20 can goods, some pasta, chips, coke, a newspaper (which is 2.00 here OMG) and a few other things for 5.95... Then, hit CVS to grab a few freebies before heading home..

Since I have been home, I just don't want to do anything.. Kids are down and I want to sit and watch TV..

I too have tons of qs left.. some are gonna expire and I will just have to get over it laugh out loud

Most people just don't understand couponing - or at least what we do. I didn't until I stumbled across it and read and read and read and then went and did it a few times. I mean, I basically thought couponing was a way to save a little here and there but figured I'd do better or about the same buying store brand stuff. And if all you are going to do is buy willy-nilly as the need or want strikes, you probably will do better buying off/store brand things.

It was like a whole world opened up with the concept of using coupons on sale items, double coupons, coupons + store coupons, and then the concept of stockpiling kind of made my head explode with wonder.

I'm kind of in the "don't wanna do nuffin" stage too. And yeah - expiring q's stink. Frown

I wish there was a grace period on JCP and Kohl's q's. I have 1 jcp q that I didn't get to use and 4 Kohl's q's. Faint Ah well... I done good overall and have some nice new stuff. I am kind of excited. My last 2 transactions for Kohl's were totally things I wanted. I got some nice heavy duty kitchen utensils (measuring cups, spatula, etc...) I have a ton of clothes for myself - nice new pants and some shirts/sweaters. Desperately needed it. I was also able to get DH some new shirts, t-shirts, and unmentionables. Big Grin It was a pretty good day actually. Guess I shouldn't be too "grr" about the q's. It was just an impossible week/weekend.

morning check-in!

i caved yesterday and got 2 freezer bags. i've been regularly buying the mp frozen peas whenever i need peas b/c it's the cheapest around, unless there is a coupon deal at the supermarket which doesn't happen often enough to keep me stocked. last wk there was a deal on the store brand at the supermarket that came out to the same price as mp, so i bought some peas and broccoli to try. and i just bought a similar size, much better quality, but doesn't fold flat soft cooler during camping clearance for 3.24.

so then this past wk for even cheaper w/ the frozen mp/archer farms tq, i get a free freezer bag too. i just couldn't resistEmbarrassment. we had to cook dinner out of the freezer yesterday and used half a bag of whole leaf spinach i just bought to get everything in the freezerlaugh out loud.

i should really return the cooler i got for 3.24 but i'm resisting b/c its really nice and a really good deal. even though we never used the slightly bigger one i got last yr on clearance LMAO.

now i got to figure out what to do w/ the extra 5 bottles of bleach i bought yesterday that were free + tax after dollar day oynos (off your next order) and moneymakers after coupons from the supermarket. i bought 64.xx in groceries AC and got back 60.50 in oynos and 5 coupons for a free reusable bag which is great... except for the quantities of stuff i have to find a place for and some big stuff i flat out won't use. not doing very good at this yrs resolution to SIMPLIFY! LMAO

My nephew's wife is pregnant and I thought about buying her a pack 'n play. Because she goes to her Moms frequently, would it be stupid to buy her 2 of them, one that she could use anywhere and one she could just leave at her moms?
