I remember that a bunch of people were dieting in here... I'm not sure if anyone is doing Atkins / South Beach / Low carb, but there is a smoking hot deal on Atkins shakes (well, smoking hot if they ship laugh out loud). It is probably a price mistake, but figured I'd post it in case anyone wants to give it a shot - linkie

Who was the credit whiz? I already got my free credit report for the year and instead of wasting ink and paper I just saved it to my now dead lappy. I just applied for a Discover card for DH and he was denied and it says we can get a free copy per blah blah blah but IDK how to get it, there is no form and they dont tell you want to submit in order to get it. Anyone had experience.

Just be careful on the Atkin Shake Deal. Someone over in that thread was posting that it looks like you could be in for a fight. As the description clearly states 24 pack but the UPC # is for a 4 pack. The company may just end up sending 4 packs per the UPS instead of what was described. I'm extremely interested but not sure I'm willing to take the risk of fighting with them over the whole thing.

I'm not the whiz, but...

There should be an 800# or address you can write to for your freebie. I *think* that they may also have a thing on the credit bureau's sites that you can click of you've been declined for something. Worst case, you'll have to wait until they send you the paper denial and it will have the info on there for requesting a copy of your report.

Oh - I'm always afraid that my puter will crash, so if it's something that I want saved I will often email myself a copy. I have a "keep these" folder in my inbox so that I just move it there when it comes. I don't know if that's an option for you, but it's saved me a couple of times. Smilie

I will try that from now on. It did give me a copy to print and it has an address but it doesn't clarify how to request it...Maybe I will just send the sheet of paper with my info highlighted Dontknow
