You guys prob already know this ... I don't go to deals ... I hardly ever even come here. But at a local Target there are a number of Bakugan toys for 75% off and Crayola toys (the sound-maker while you draw, and the light up globe thing and a couple others) for 50% off. They also have a bunch of Frebreeze candles & Vaccuum bags for 30% - 50% off.
Anyone here from WI? Have they been following the Union/Walker stuff? What is the climate in your neck of the woods.
I went to a new Target that opened that had really expensive stuff (compared to the other Targets) for example a bag of diapers is $11.29 ??? No idea --- other things were also more expensive --- don't understand. Also - they had a rack of super ugly clothes for 75% off (wondering how they have clearance when they JUST opened!)

Kids at our school wanted to stage a walkout, but the administrator nixed the idea, since it was one of those foggy icky days a couple of weeks ago.

We're about an hour away from Madison also and there haven't been demonstrations around here that I am aware of. I followed it on the news the first week or so, but after that it just got too stressful to watch and listen to.
Have "The 14" returned to their jobs? I would think they'd be grateful to have a job in this economy

I've been watching pretty closely - we're in an interesting area, with the town we live in being very small (and poor) yet with Green Lake less than 15 minutes away with the "richie-rich" lake people. Those of us without money are more on the side of the unions, and the people who actually have money think the governor is doing the right thing.
The 14 senators are still hiding out in Illinois, although they did request to meet with the Governor "somewhere near the IL/WI border" today. It will be interesting to see what he does.
I personally lost a lot of respect for him after he was recorded saying that he thought about planting troublemakers in the crowd, and less than a week later they "found" over 100 live rounds of ammo scattered around outside the Capital. My thought is if there was a whack-a-doodle-doo who was bringing ammo to the Capital, odds are he'd be shooting it and not throwing it willy-nilly all over the grounds.
Regardless of what side you're on, it's a historic time in Wisconsin. I took my daughter to see the protests a couple of weeks ago, because (hopefully) it will be the biggest peaceful demonstration she'll see in her lifetime.

They basically get you free diapers...and the $10 codes can get you a whole host of other free stuff from the baby store @ Amazon.com.....you might look around under the baby section to see if there's anything -- not all baby stuff is just for babies. Thinking particularly of baby wipes; you can use those for plenty of other things!
I found 5 of the magazines at Barnes & Noble & Borders. They carry Parents, Parenting, Fit Pregnancy, Pregnancy Newborn, and American Baby. HTH.
I would say no for a man unless you know someone who needs diapers or baby stuff.

I wish there was a quick fix for stress, like a Nature Made vitamin that worked like Ibuprofen, that would be nice.
