Time to 'fess up...
We all have strange habits/superstitions/compulsions. Give it up--let's hear yours.
Here are a couple of mine. I have a strange distaste for odd numbers. If I can control something and I have a choice between even or odd--for example, my home theater receiver volume displays in digits--I will always choose an even number.
I also "write" phrases with my finger on any surface (the arm of my chair, the car door, my thigh) that I hear on the television, radio, etc. I alternate between cursive and print, and sometimes I try to keep up with whomever I'm copying. For example, if the news is on and the anchor says "a shocking double murder in the District this evening," I will be scribbling this phrase on the couch cushion to my right.
I've also practiced wiping my butt with my left hand in case my right hand gets cut off or mangled in some horrible accident.
Your turn.

This 5-1/4" tall, hard vinyl Obsessive Compulsive Action Figure is worried about whether or not you washed your hands after you used the bathroom. Just in case, he's sure you won't mind if he wears his gloves and surgical mask when he shakes your hand. Or even better, maybe you could just bump elbows with him. Now, as soon as he finishes counting those ceiling tiles, he can get started on alphabetizing the canned foods. Mini surgical mask included. Packaged with a sanitary, hypo-allergenic towelette to clean off the figure before you touch it.

I am kinda OCD about keeping my hands clean. I probably wash my hands 70 times a day. My ds thinks I am crazy because after I come in from getting them at school I have to wash my hands from touching the steering wheel. He says I am nuts because I am the only one that touches it. I carry a ziploc of baby wipes in the van at all times too.
Dh counts by 4's....He'll tap 4,4,4,4,4, with his fingers all at the same time while counting to 96 then 1(97) 2(98) 3(99) 4(100) to 100
He also has right foot left foot socks.
Need to have real plates that are like the TV dinner trays so each item has its own wall from the other foods.

I love learning about people's OCDs..... maybe bumping the thread will get some new ones.
So as not to merely bump the thread, I'll give another one of my OCDs: When I paint my fingernails, the polish must cover everything possible down to the quick without spilling onto my finger. Any smudge means I have to completely restart the process instead of simply painting over it. I can't be able to see through the polish once it's done. If I can, I must apply another coat.
