uc san diego. i graduated with a math and econ degree. i would have more fun going to california poly with my friends. i'd be better off going to uc santa barbara that was giving me a stipend to attend. i'd get a job easier if i went to cal state northridge. i'm just bitter about the process. you hear reputations. and yeah, if you go to harvard it opens doors for you. uc's just care about higher learning. the best they teach you in an interview for a math degree? hey we learned to problem solve.

When you don't do much with a TV to begin with, a $300 difference is pretty big.

diff between a led and a cheap lcd looks to me like the diff between hd and sd. personal preference of course. if you don't see it..go for it. its a great deal.

Santa brought me the Sceptre 42-inch LCD [walmart.com] for $360 from WalMart.com this Christmas.

I got the 37" Sceptre that Sears had earlier this year (ended up at $320 with shipping/tax, IIRC). So far, it's been a perfectly fine TV.
