Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Does anyone know if you can grow the toenail back on your big toe???My toe went under the file cabinet but my toenail didnt!!! It was tsicking straight up squirting blood all over the place. I had to take a deep breath and mash it back down into place and put a ruberband on it to keep it in place. It throbs a little but it doesnt hurt for some reason.

Good news.....it WILL grow back....
Bad news.......it will have to fall off firstOMG

Yeah, I was stalking jdahlen one night (What?!? She'd been going through a lot & disappeared! I was worried so I looked to see if she'd posted lately! Sheesh...) and she asked a question & people were just mean! My 'guard dog' came out https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?p=37435589#post37435589. I was surprised by how many strangers repped me for that, but never said anything. There are way too many old-timers on SD who feel they are 'superior', openly laugh at, and treat others like dirt for entertainment. Apparently, that's acceptable but for the love of God, don't go off topic or the m o d s will go crazy. Those two clowns (now three) who started all of the trouble over there continue to hang around, knowing that they have full protection because they're old-timers.
I'd been checking SD for deals for years but never signed up (until OWTW) because the place seemed to be full of jerks. Soap Box Thanks, I feel better now. BTW, has anyone seen jdahlen around lately? Big Grin
I seen her nod

Hi everyone,
I'm one of those lurkers you all asked to come out and join...so I'd like to say hi to everyone. I usually pop in to see all the enjoyable posts from everyone. Life is busy as my Father-in-law has been sick, and husband's grandmother has surgery also last week. I enjoy seeing what everyone has won. My luck isn't the best...I did win one of those pizza's from Tony's which was exciting. I have been trying to win one of those buckles...I have signed up myself, my husband, and my daughter, and yes we all smoke. I haven't been able to get past level four on any of them My speed is good-I don't know why I can't rope those steer/horses. I would really like one of those buckles for my son...would anyone still be able to play the game for me? My carpal tunnel is telling me no more playing that game. I would be most appreciative...and my son would be thrilled to have one of those for an Easter gift, and I think my son-in-law would too. Thanks to anyone who responds.

Quote from DesertDoll7 Offtopic Your ramblings has nothing to do with the snus challange wave

I helped cm51 get her buckle, but I really didn;t see the point of DesertDoll7 to be so disrespectful to this lady. She was new and unaware of the funny farm. This really got under my skin today!!! Why can't people be respectful of others, no need for smirky remarks!!! The lady I helped was a very sweet and delightful person, she didn't deserve her remarks!!
Mad Sorry I just had to vent, stuff over there usually doesn't bother me, I just move right on but NOT TODAY!!!

I had to comment on her too.....
Especially after the banter between Gary and hyperboarder and jeepdogWink

Have you met him yet? woot Have you met him? I hope that it goes well! I'm excited for both you and Wilson!!! hug
Cowboy

I'm going to head up there tomorrow on my day off. There is a $120 fee for having him checked out by a veterinarian and micro-chipped. I have to fill out some kind of application as part of the process.

Years ago my younger brother had a lab named Wilson. I can't help but envision a dog with glasses!

We still have a cupboard full of doggie treats...milkbones, sticks and chewies.

I have always had a dog, up until two years ago. Four yellow labs have delighted my life...BoJangles, Boomer, Mika and Jazz.

Yes...I'm excited to meet him...bet my heart will melt!

Tomorrow will be a fun day! Two years ago I bought a Subaru Forester with a dog cage in the back. The only time Mika and Jazz got to ride in it was to take them to the vet to be put down. I never did clean the back windows...their nose prints are still there.

I feel like I'm going on a blind date...only better!
