So..............remember a few weeks ago I told you I got an email about winning a TV and I was CERTAIN it was a scam? Well, it may not have been a scam, but it WAS a mistake. Got the following email this AM:

Our sincere apologies for the confusion and misunderstanding. Our readers and entrants are most important to us -- and we want you to know we are resolving this issue so it absolutely NEVER happens again.

Thank you for your understanding."

Sometimes I HATE it when I'm right.

Ok, I finally read the rules, and if I understand this correctly you have to snail mail your request for codes and they email them back (a week at a time). Starting July 5th through July 14th you can click the link to request them.

You may submit one (1) Bonus Code Request each Week by hand printing your name, home address (no P.O. Bonus Game Code Requests must be postmarked by each Monday during the Promotion Period to receive your Bonus Game Codes for the prior Week. You may submit one (1) Bonus Code Request each Week through July 4, 2011. No mass or mechanically reproduced requests will be accepted. I just went to their site again. Every item says only available in some areas. Every item says I am not eligible! That really sucks. Now I want to find some Green T-shirts to send for your girls. Oh my, that is terrible, and just wrong!

That is just for BONUS codes, not regular daily entry codes.

I am using one of the many posted each day, thus avoiding having to request one through the app, and hoping they email me one.

It just doesn't stink those girls are gonna be devastated if they don't get them.

Dang this is ticking me off about that site for Katie's girls they were so excited and now this that stinks.

Katie, can ya figure out exactly what states are eligible? If ya can get that info, we'll be all set? Jules said MI was one.

Thank you, Gary and all who sent them emails. But it ain't gonna happen. Somewhere in the bowels of a D.L.Blair wannabe company, a new employee pushed the wrong button. We've all made mistakes in our lives and maybe this is payback for one I made in 1993 (yes, I went back through my diaries to find the last time I made an error ). I didn't believe the initial email when I received it and was not upset by its being wrong.

Someone came on this forum (never heard of him/her before) and said that he/she had received the same emails but had actually believed the first one and was devastated. THAT was sad.

On the bright side, I received the Hot Tamales I won in January 2002 and the Bic coupon. Plus, of course, I was one of the first to win a flash red hoodie.

So thanks again , but please don't worry about me or that $#*Q(#@P company called InTouch Weekly ( just kidding).
