Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

If you want to save FF3, you should first make copies of the shortcuts to FF3 (right-click on the desktop icon, choose Copy), then Paste them to the same place (which will create one call Copy Of ... or similar). Then rename that copy FF3, FireFox3, or whatever you want.
Then run the FF4 install, and choose Custom instead of Standard, and when it comes up with the old folder, add a 4 to the end or something, so FF4 installs to a different folder.
Once FF4 is done installing, the "Mozilla Firefox" icon on your desktop will most likely point to your FF4 install. If so, rename it FF4, FireFox4, or whatever you want to call it, as long as it is not the same name as the old FF3 icon.
This will leave 2 Firefox icons on your desktop, one that runs FF3, one that runs FF4. But remember not to try to run both at the same time, the second one you try to run will fail. Unless of course you use the Mozilla help site to set up different Profiles for each, which will let you run both at the same time.

On one of my machines, in order to properly support clients, I once had Netscape Communicator in several versions, and Firefox in several versions, all running from the Default Profile (well, Communicator had a separate Default Profile than Firefox, so technically 2 Default Profiles...). Just couldn't run more than one of the Communicators or Firefoxes at once.
I even saved it for my husband to do because I am just cursed and still nata!!! zilch!
