Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

I've admired your Labs for awhile, because it used to be your avatar.
I don't know if you followed my adoption of Wilson...he has serious itching issues. I took him to the vet last week and he got a cortizone shot. I balked at the $300-$400 allergy blood tests. Despite allergy meds, a change in food, topical sprays and so on, it is just getting worse. It breaks my heart, wasn't expecting anything like this. He is losing tons of hair, and now has scabs all over. So I have another vet appointment tomorrow, with a different vet. Nonetheless, a 120 mile trip, and hopefully we can figure this mess out. I would trade that for nine puppies!!!

I am so sorry to hear about Wilson I was so excited for you when you told us all about his addoption. I used a flea and tick shampoo ( live in the foothills of the Cascades) and my yellow lab started loosing his hair and rubbing his back half under my kitchen table, I ran down and purchased this organic shampoo with oatmeal in it no pesticides to kill anything and used that and bathed him at least twice a week and he started getting better. I am far from a vet but am also on a tight budget too. Anything is worth a shot but poor Wilson I wish I had an answer for you. Just when you do change you must stick with it for a month or so to see if there are any changes in his sores. Change food is good, do you know what they were feeding him at the shelter? Most dog foods use CORN as a filler it is a cheap filler, so I would start with that. Find a dog food that don't have corn in it, Corn Makes for a lot of poop piles too. ha ha
Usually a feed store can recommend a good food.
Does he seem stressed? New home and all, hair will fall out quick, but take awhile to grow back so it will be hard to tell if any thing works right away. I am with you, see a new vet and see what they have to say and you let us know right away. Don't give up you will conquer this. We are all here for you and I wish I could trade you, but God put Wilson with you for a reason, because of the kindness in your heart, that is what Wilson needed. I will ask around for you here for any ideas that would be worth trying. GOOD LUCK! Put Wilson in our Prayers to get better soon.

It refers to the Green bottle suppose to be a 2 liter bottle of soda i would think, try that.
