Received my bandana yesterday. If I had black and white decor, I'd use it as a table scarf.

Could tie it to a black purse.

Men could use it as a hankerchief, but my husband prefers white ones. Might look nice sticking out of a pocket in a men's jacket if folded just right.

Today (yesterday) was a good day at the vet. They took the time to talk with me about Wilson's itching problems, did some tests and scrapings, and a thorough exam. Although the problem has not been pin pointed, I feel we are in a better place in finding out what's wrong. He does have flea problems, even though we treated him for that, and a yeast infection in his ears and possibly on his skin, as well. They didn't give him any more steroid shots, but they treated him for fleas, and gave us antibiotics and a solution to bathe him in. Although allergies have not been ruled out, other things are being considered first.

The girls there remembered me from taking in both my twin girl Labs almost two years ago to be put down (two weeks apart). Wilson was very well liked by the whole team. They gave him something to calm him, as well. I think the road to recovery is in his future.

I called the Humane Society this morning, and they are unable to help with any vet bills, but I really didn't expect that. He was a stray, and was named Wilson by the people at the Humane Sociey. I suspected this was a homeless dog with no name. I am going to give him a new name...not sure what just yet.

Thanks to all for the conversation, interest and support. It helped with my own frustration and gave me plenty of food for thought. But mostly, I felt like I had some friends in my quest for a solution...and that means a lot to me!

And kagancelia...I just read a number of other posts by you. If MLx3 is our Avatar Mom, you can certainly be our Dog Mom! (Or Dad...not sure?!?)

Hi wish....I used to fold a bandana in half to make a triangle and wear it on the top of my head with a knot under my hair ....of course that was in the 70's
