No I have the best we can get in my area, DSL? Only have like 1 choice, welcome to Montana.... I think I pay $49.00 or $59.00 a month for it. use to have dialup and that was terrible.

Hi all.. (home from work and catching up on reading)
That must have been very scary Caribou54...EEK! can happen at anytime without warning. I tend to get anxious every hurricane seasonEEK! Been through many Hurricanes and Trop storms. Lived in Fl 35 yrs+...thus my avatar.... Hurricane Charley. The 145 mph storm hit Aug Fri the 13th 2004. 10 miles from me. Was a very scary day.

I lived in the SF Bay area for 8 years, and only ever felt one - up at 3am, and the window shook a little, and the blinds swayed for a second.

FAR less movement than when they tested the MOAB (or maybe it was the FOAB) 15-20 miles away at the time in FL. Was sitting in my computer chair, and the whole house moved back and forth under my chair. Military denied there was a test for months, but it finally came out later that they had tested one (why they kept it hush-hush, I'll never understand, as they advertised previous tests).

you know what is funny about this conversation is,,,my son in law just came over to borrow a wrench and some allen wrenches to put his bike together, and as I have 3 drawers of wrenches I could not find 1 16mm wrench and I know I probably have at least 3 of them

My wife and I slept through hurricane Ivan, were holed up at her parents, and we were on the back side of the house to the wind. Good thing I boarded up our rental house at the time without asking for permission - at least one branch was wedged between the plywood and the siding. A tree right next to the house split in half but luckily fell away from it). Didn't sleep much for the next week cleaning up the neighborhood afterwards, so I guess it was good we got the sleep then.
